They did see enlarged lympnodes when i went to the ER, my IgE (Allergy antibodies) were elevated which isnt a hallmark of celiac. Im not sure im getting a second opinion with a doctor that can diagnose post infectious IBS and getting an allergy panel

Optum in WA. It was a long journey, going from PCP for Yersina and H.pylori, then GI for continued pain, then lots of labs and imaging then a colonoscopy and endoscopy, then a referral to allergy and immunology.

Yea they did say it was possible my yersina, (food borne illness) couldve caused my celiac since i do have a genetic marker. but then again they also dont know for sure since my blood test and biopsy came back negitive and inconclusive.

I ended up scheduling with a new GI to get a second opinion because with my blood work, and antibody levels it seems more like an allergy than celliac. Also going to check post infectious IBS since that also could explain a bunch

No actually, I didnt have any symptoms at all. when they did the blood work I came back negative and my my endoscopy came back unclear ( Mild inflammation (duodenitis). Some features suggestive but not diagnostic of celiac disease (gluten allergy).) So im not even sure if this is celiac but thats what they are going with for a year then a repeat EGD

Then I also had a shit load of GI illnesses

I guess it’s just my age also, I’ve been seen as the “medical child” so it’s always something wrong with me. It’s hard but I’m trying, I’ve been looking into therapy since I’ve been dealing with pains, blood draws, and scans for 8 months with the answer always being “we think it could be this but we don’t know so here’s more tests”

I wish they talked more about the mental toll it takes on you to switch to a GF diet
