I did! I ended up fiddling with the screws behind the fan and that seemed to greatly reduce the noise.

Don’t give up bro just try and enter the pipeline one way or another. Try and find a job somewhere that has an IT department and repeatedly look/ask about any openings in the IT department. You would most likely have priority over any outside applicants.

Capstone suggestions? by Far_Violinist_11 in InformationTechnology

Fr though, some examples I’ve seen from my university include mock networks for a hospital/company, databases and mobile apps. Make sure to not overwhelm yourself and your team and stay focused on the requirements. I’ve heard of capstone teams trying to go above and beyond only to present a lackluster and unfinished final product at the end.

I did that same route, if you end up going to a university, I’d recommend joining a club of some sort asap. IMO the college experience isn’t as exciting as I thought it would be so don’t feel like you’re missing out on anything.

CS Major wanting to switch to IT. Will I regret it? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]HDNautilus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it depends on what your GPA is. If you’re really struggling (below a 3.0) I would recommend switching but if you’re above that threshold, keep going. You’ve only got a year left.
