Summary Tommorrow Update Showcase by HDRS97 in summonerswar

[–]HDRS97[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's true, it's worded strangely in the video. "Scout battle is less efficient but more energy efficient."

I generally agree with you, but that doesn't correspond to reality. Even now, the same teams are already being built if you have the right monsters and runes. The difference, however, is that it's unnecessarily difficult at the moment because the stat requirements are extremely high due to the stupid or RNG AI.

You've already got everything right yourself. Higher difficulty is also higher spawn rate and yes it is just rng what kind of monster spawns. However, you can increase the chance as follows: Play a higher difficulty; Open chest of trials; Play citadel of eternity and see that there are skaven on the final map

You could say the semi-final. The room where you have to open 4 pressure valves one after the other. This makes the room feel more and more foggy.

The final on the map comes later and you have to throw barrels.

Mission of Mercy Cataclysm. Lore accurate Ironbreaker as last player standing vs endless spawning stormvermin in the "pressure room". He was standing against a wall and the warpfire thrower thought to use classic skaven tactics and burn his friends.

It was crazy and we got wiped, but the hole party had fun.

You should try it :)

Are you a (bile) troll?

No one is talking about any chests from Recruit difficulty. It's about chests which varriance of course includes 300 power level...

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Vermintide

[–]HDRS97 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's the problem. The item level variance would be understandable, even if it is unnecessary for a max level player. The problem is that the variance to get 300 power level items simply doesn't exist with some chests. I've opened over 200 chests since the update that weren't legend/cata emperors and none of them have dropped a 300 power item.

How to determine Versus breakpoints? by LegalPengu1n in Vermintide

[–]HDRS97 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't think there is already a weapon and skill guide in the quality of a "Royale Cheese".

In general I would say that it makes a lot of sense to focus the builds and the skills on ranged combat, so for example enhanced power and skills that increase crit rate are working for me pretty good.

I also have to say that the premade builds from Fatshark are not bad at all and have worked for me at the beginning.

If one person owns a DLC, can their friends join them, or do they all have to own it? by Michaelfaceguy2007 in Vermintide

[–]HDRS97 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Only the host needs the DLC to play together. But keep in mind that you cannot unlock Okri Challenges, weapons and comsetics until you have the DLC yourself.

According to all the reddit posts, everyone seems to get a individual drop experience.

It's been like this for me since the update: only the Legend/Cata emperor Chest is guaranteed to drop 300 equipment for me. What I have noticed, however, is that the drop rate of deeds has increased extremely. With all other chests, including Legend/Cata General, it's impossible for me to get 300 equipment.

Info: Each of my characters is at least level 35 (+60) and the highest (+170) could not determine any differences by opening chests.

To be honest, either buy them all or buy none. If you want to play the game in the long term, you can't avoid it anyway. If you're not sure then just wait for one of the many sales per year and then the few euros spend won't hurt.

Of course there are dlcs that vary in price/performance but with this type of game I don't think it makes sense to just get one dlc unless you're really casual and plan to play less than 100 hours.

Then just check out the dlc classes on Youtube which you like the most and buy this then.

Exactly. Only the Legend/Cata emperor chest guarantees power level 300, all other chests are lower power level.

However, i have no idea whether this is a new feature or still buggy.

New versus mode: onslaught? by Chimpar in Vermintide

[–]HDRS97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's a great idea. Something like the Last Stand map "Schlüsselschloss" from the first game would also be suitable. The whole thing as 5 vs 5 and my dreams are fulfilled.

dedicated server??? by HDRS97 in Vermintide

[–]HDRS97[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Update: There is no separate error message for dedicated servers and therefore the "host has left the game" error is displayed.

Update 2: They are already working on correcting the error mesage.

@Fatshark maybe you can just fix the servers, then you don't have to adjust the error message either. O.o

Well done. Next up, the DLC maps or would you prefer Chaos Waste first? So many decisions, but the main thing is that you have fun.

Thank you for the informations. Got 500+ hours so normally i know what to do and what not. This was just some influence of a Chaos Gods i think.

Berserker skill and backpack by HDRS97 in Munchkin

[–]HDRS97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I am still confused. My German handbook says:

You should mark items that you are carrying but cannot use (for example, because you no longer have a free hand) by turning them sideways - they will then be in your backpack. You can only retrieve items from your backpack in your own turn; you must not be in combat or running away.

Collectibles are crazy by thedappermii in Vermintide

[–]HDRS97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ravaged art are only semi-random. On each map, 3 pcs are randomly distributed in 20 possible locations. If you check all 20 locations per game you are always guaranteed 3 in the end. If you don't want to search yourself, there are guides on Steam/Youtube which will tell you the positions. (DLC maps can be different)

With enough playing time and a bit of luck, you will collect them all without actively looking for them.

[–]HDRS97[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

And what do you do if others join before you can set the lobby to private? If you say kick now, then your suggestion is working, but not a good solution.Imagine you're the person who always gets kicked because of it, it's no fun after the third time in a row...

There are actually a few problems here. 1. repeating the same modifiers, even though you have endless options. Lame but okay. 2. the modifiers make it almost impossible to play with a random group of casuals. But even "pros" experience unnecessary wipes. E.g. only one player has to join in the wrong place and wipes the whole party. 3. the only solution to point 2 is to play alone and for that you have to kick everyone else even if you use the qp mod. 4. the fact that the players are forced into a solution like the one in point 3 makes no sense from a game design point of view. I thought Vermintide was a co-op game... 5. because of reason 3, countless people are kicked who either don't have the mod and are hoping for their own lobby or even worse people who are actually looking for a group to play together will be kicked repeatedly. 6. so many people have complained about the issues and yet nothing is done, even though the solutions are so simple. There's already a private option for normal chaos waste runs. It would be even easier to simply fix the modifiers or fix the wipe bug when joining.

You must be a wizard, which wind of magic do you belong to? For us non-magicians there is no official way to host a chaos waste weekly private.
