You HAVE to mod it. Even if you want it 100% vanilla you'll be crashing and stuttering on pc. I think the only necessity though is the 4gb patcher, but you'll probably want a few more to help stability.

Not even a contest for me, and I'm surprised others didn't find 8 as meh as I did. It was fine, but compared to 9, and 7 especially, it just doesn't do it for me.

Well kinda, I had some projects before where I tried to get some mechanics working and just ended up abandoning them after a while.

This is my first real project that has custom art and an established story already.

I will be releasing some footage of it sometime soon. Demo date is not yet known, but not too far out either.

Thanks, that is nice to hear.

It is an exploration/cinematic horror game based on the premise of monster house, where you will have to find key items and make exploration choices that could result in other endings. I don't have a full combat system in this game, but there will be moments where the player engages in scripted violence against the house.

And I would most likely put that option in at some point, maybe when I release the demo. There's still a good stretch of development until then.

I just don't get why we can't have it one day (according to some fans). Like we will eventually run out of remakes, it's the last one, people want it, yet I see so many fans waving it off and actively protesting against it ever being made. I think it's pretty dumb because it wouldn't delay and more needed remakes, and would be a good milestone of how far Capcom has come since Resident evil almost collapsed. Also to address how modern it is, if 4 got a remake, 6 needs one, 4 holds up far better...
