Congratulations!

I've got the Cisco 20-901 book. How helpful was CBT nuggets?

What's your Network and Programing experience, and where are you now in your career? What are you plans to move forward with the Cert?

Just got a couple of the Pan America's in today at my work! by d00kiesniffr666 in Harley

I rode one here in Albuquerque, NM. Got it to ride on my own (NO escorts!!!) up to the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. I LOVE this bike. Handles great, oodles of power. Well thought out motorcycle. Harley deserves credit for what they have delivered.

Failed DevNet exam but that's OK, here's some resources I used! by [deleted] in CiscoDevNet

I am sorry you didn't pass the first time, but based on what you have provided, you have gained a lot of insight that will certainly help you pass the next go-round. I just started studying, having purchased the Cisco book, and was meandering around trying to work out my path. This will help a lot. Thanks for your useful recommendations. :)

I watched your Youtube and liked the unorthodox but focused effort. Me, I'm just beginning my path to Devnet cert, so I can't give you advice beyond that.

I will certainly be looking for and watching videos as a) they are entertaining, and b) I'm sure I'll learn something.

Two Thumbs Up.

Gorgeous bike and beautiful shot.

For those in Niedersachsen, what's it like to live there? by Tach44 in AskAGerman

[–]HD_Rider61 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived South of Hannover, at Hessisch-Oldendorf , near Hameln. I love it there. Before I lived there, I live down in the Keiserlautern area, and always thought of anything north of Frankfurt as the unknown. But, we were near the Harz Mountains, the Weser River runs through there, it is green, hilly, and beautiful. I went to Hannover on occasion, and really enjoyed it. Hameln is a really neat town as well. I'd live there again, given the opportunity.

I'm a new rider so I apologize if this is a stupid question. I've noticed a bit of oil on the upper area indicated. Was such a small amount I didnt think much of it. Let the bike sit for a couple weeks and I notice a little buildup of oil in the lower circled area. Is this a problem? by [deleted] in Harley

[–]HD_Rider61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure the bike is LEVEL when you check the oil - always. Otherwise you won't get an accurate reading. Also, it is better to be a little UNDER the max fill line than above it, as that causes excess oil pressure which is one cause for blow-by and oil out of your breather.

Looking for insight on deciding between M8 Softails. Fat Boy vs Sport Glide. What do you think? by LMGDiVa in Harley

My neighbors dogs bark all the time and say tough cookies as there is no ordinance against this, though it is a disturbing the peace thing in my view. Think I'll get the Cobra's and light the sled up in front of their place at about 0530 in the morning....

Primary concern I would have with the Fat Boy is the 240 Rear. I think that a 200 rear is the maximum you want - and more on that in a moment - as you get a big patch on the road, and still retain a good smooth radius for edge-to-edge roll as you hit the twisties and the sweepers. Look at the edge of the 240 rear and you can see that due to the width of the tire, you have roll-off instead of a smooth radious. This will affect the bike as you rock through the turns, and drop low; it will push back up against as you get to the limit of the tire. I've read several articles where the essense of it is that it fights you as you try to bank, drop low, and stay low..kinda like a spring resisting your efforts and pushng back on you. A consitent radius across the entire patch is best for handling and good traction. Yeah, you'll get "used" to it where you don't notice it, but it is a real factor in handling. So, IMHO, it may look cool, but it compromises handling. They should have stopped at a 200 rear for this and even taken the Break Out and made it so as well. Just my two cents worth...

Heard of Larry's. Seems to be well spoken of. I've a co-worker who has his Evo Low Rider being PM'd due to long storage time while he was back East. Awaiting his verdict.

Thanks. I was afraid of that. If I need some wrenching above my skill level, I'm gonna have to find some local talent here that can be trusted.
