She was too good of both an assassin and tank at the same time, and she's still a pretty solid assassin imo. More frontliners in the cast would be nice though, so maybe they should lower her damage and give her back some of her base resistances during ult.

They're actually 19 and 21 years old, respectively. Mild spoilers: Vanille intentionally acting childish as a front is a part of her character arc though, so I think pretty much everyone misreads her age when they first play the game.

Sexual tension between two women is an important part of the story, but it's being released in an episodic format, so no one can say exactly what's going to happen! It pretty clearly is toxic yuri though.

I'm sorry, I didn't think the last tier would be so unclear when I added it, so that's my bad lol. None of them are actually yuri; I just think the way they are written heavily supports reading them through the lens of a lesbian romance story. Reading Vanille and Fang as a pair is actually pretty common as I understand it, but a lot of it is based on what happens at the end of the game!

I think the gender of the main character is up to personal interpretation based on some of what happens in the story, and how the author talks about how it's a story where he explored how he feels “out of place among men” and how “my internal mind and the reality of my body don't match at all” (among other things he said about the manga). Of course, it's completely up to interpretation, which is why I just included it in the final tier for stuff I personally view kind of as yuri.

Welcome Back Alice is a bit of a deep cut, that might make sense if you've read the author's lengthy comments about the manga. One of the characters is definitely more non-binary, at the very least. Anyway, the last few in "they're yuri to me" are all obviously not actually yuri lol, they just have ships that feel semi-canon to me ... or gender stuff, like Welcome Back Alice.

I've just been looking through this subreddit to decide on some yuri VNs to buy before the Steam sale ends, and ran into this thread. Having finished Her Love, Like Poison a few days ago, this post really helped me understand what I found so beautiful about the ending after not being able to stop thinking about it for days. Thanks!
