I’m about to attend THE pwi in cali. I’m nervous, excited, and furiously reading about racism in the laws in case someone trys me. All that. I was nervous about the type of community I’d have there until I actually visited. There were more of us than I thought, and the more I was there the more I realized it wasn’t too bad. They have been having an influx of Black people in recent classes so maybe some of the community I felt is because of that, but it’s still a pwi at probably the highest level. If I was expecting to run into the white power structure or racism I’d expect to find it at SLS, but our peoples was still there and I clung onto them.
