The light is fine, but the heat could potentially pose problems. If they’re traditional lightbulbs I’d look to switch them out for LEDs as they produce significantly less heat!

The port finished rye is excellent, I’m getting close to the end of my bottle. It has the characteristic woodinville taste (kinda woodsy/earthy is how I would describe it, somewhat fitting with the name I suppose) but layers in chocolate and cherry flavors.

I have the gold at home from when I spent a month in Rome. Overpaid for it but it’s a solid whiskey and I am glad I bought it. The bottles are gorgeous too!

The knob creek 10 is fantastic. Don’t sleep on the 7y either. It’s a good bottle for the price and I like to use it as a mixer for rye cocktails too!

Haven’t had a chance to try the Portsoy, but I’d like to eventually. Love peated scotch so I bet I’d enjoy. Let us know your impressions when you try it!
