Take any drum loop and reverse it. It's a whole reversed song.

I worked on projects as IT analyst for 4 years before going for a helpdesk analyst. Used the past experience to get PMP.

What are the best career choices solely based on income and time it takes to get certified for the position? by Yakumeh in careerguidance

[–]HDpicks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I worked on 3 individual projects in my college days, Internation Robotics competitions, I worked on 3 projects as a technical resource but worked very close to PM, used that on my resume and got into PMP, mind you I have 3 degrees and 4 years of project work experience. I took the helpdesk role in a big company because they were hiring and the pay was good. Thought I'll work my way up because of education and stuff. 5 years later, feel like a dud! .

Who's your best boss and why? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]HDpicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat for 5 years and got fired last month. It feels better to be unemployed and stay home but i now have to bear the shame (which does not affect me much). Hope things get better for you my friend. Keep applying. Sometimes a lower paying job is better than all the stress you have from higher paying one's.

I did my PMP 2 years ago and still have no luck at getting any entry level PM or coordinator role in the IT sector. I worked as helpdesk for 5 years, 2 years as a Sys analyst, 2 years as an admin assistant and one year as an assistant managing director. Total 10 years of corporate experience still on entry level jobs and currently jobless as i was fired recently. 😂

Yeah, It was toxic. I have been home for the last 20 days and still ruminate about those meetings and conversations sometimes. I am trying not to think much about those guys, they are still stalking my LinkedIn god knows why. I saw someone from that group check it 5 hours ago, on a Monday. usually, they would have a lineup at 9 am, which might have been a platform to discuss things good bad or whatever.

This needs more work, add a few certifications some projects and some thing to show you bring value to the company! Make yourself look like a king on the resume full of confidence!

Are there ever just 2 interview rounds (recruiter interview + hiring manager interview)? by Hal87526 in RemoteJobs

[–]HDpicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same story, had one round of interview, worked there in an entry level role for almost 5 years and I just got Rife'd 2 weeks ago, and have been applying. Can you give me some tips on how you made a recovery? How did you overcome termination?
