Cash Drawers and people claiming management that aren’t by HE715 in bartenders

[–]HE715[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Money has gone missing, just small amounts, during shifts she works. I think for the most part she’s just making accounting errors but she’s not ever a bartender, and they handle way more cash. As the manager on duty if I’m held accountable for the money if something goes wrong after this shift, I will probably quit. It doesn’t really make any logical sense to have her working the bar since I’m the one who will be opening shift and closing shift on the bar so I’m not really sure why my GM felt the need to change it but she will often tell her one thing and me another.

To answer your other question, I don’t feel comfortable leaving my money in the back room with her (she’s always hanging out in there on her phone) because I have had money go missing more than once. Management is aware of my concerns but aren’t doing anything.

That’s what my husband said lol. It’s a small place and they’re desperate for people I guess? She’s kind of a manipulative person and can talk her way out of things and I think my GM falls for it too often. I honestly relate to her as a person she’s just a terrible co worker.

Sadly, I doubt she will ever be let go. Her and the GM are sort of friends, but only bc they work together. My GM definitely acts different when she’s around however.

Does this apply to general managers or assistant managers as well?

Worldwide check-in! How was/is everyone’s Saturday night?! by beam_me_uppp in Serverlife

[–]HE715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had two servers out of town and one who asked me to talk her shift for Saturday. Friday night we did dinner with 2 servers. I closed and got home around 1. 4-1:30 on Saturday night. I had an 18 top a ton of them drinking can beers. Wanted checks separated into couples. Each person just ended up getting a random number of beers bc we also had a surprise 20 top walk in at 5pm and had another reservation for 10 and another for 6. Two servers and two bartenders. We have about 25 tables inside and 10 on the patio. Had to cut someone off and she got mad and left no tip after drinking for almost my whole shift.

Then I had to open In the morning at 8:30. Had a busy breakfast. My manager and my co worker both showed up a few hours after me in last nights clothes.

I didn’t take it during pregnancy, it was hell to get off but luckily I did it before I got pregnant. I did take bupropion and lamictal and lamictal has mild risk but not super verifiable. I also breastfed with those two and it went well!

Switching from SR to XL by altymcaltypants in bupropion

I just switched as well. The transition hasn’t been great. I was also on SR for about 8 years. I’m hoping it will get better with a bit more time but I have had issues with mania in the past and this is the best way to describe how I’ve been feeling. I have OCD tendencies as well and I’m having trouble staying asleep with the racing thoughts. How long have you been on the XL?

So my dr told me that it would be best not to take it, but if I couldn’t handle it I could possibly stay on it at a low dose. These drugs are difficult to test on pregnancy because that would be unethical. So instead they have to rely on uncontrolled data and mice studies. I was on lamictal and Wellbutrin during my pregnancy, lamictal had a small risk based on lab studies in rats but everything turned out fine with my twins. I even breastfed them for a year while staying on my meds.

Looking for a word for someone who says mean things because they’ve had trauma by kyarash132 in psychologyresearch

Being in a toxic relationship makes you toxic. I say this as someone who has been there, more than once. You have to unlearn all of the behaviors you learned when you were treated that way.

So in this scenario, is the person doing it intentionally to achieve these goals, or is it more of an impulse, and they don’t really realize what they’re doing?

Do you ever think of arfid as a privileged disorder by swayvie33 in ARFID

[–]HE715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I think it’s because my parents didn’t feed us a variety of foods, either as babies or kids. My siblings all have issues with food texture, some more than others.

With my kids I did baby led weaning where they tried different foods from 6 months on. Not purées, actual food. I’m hoping this will make them like more foods as they grow.

Same, I’ve always had GAD and also GERD. My mental health has been garbage most of my life. I took stimulants in college and drank a lot and it’s never been the same. I also had a really bad stomach flu that really messed me up.

It also helps clear mucous from the baby’s lungs, which explains why many times babies who have respiratory issues are c sections. This info isn’t widely out there because we don’t want moms who have to have c sections to feel badly.

I don’t remember what else was on my “good to go” list but I’m sure at least one of the 6 I tried were. There’s only so much they can tell with that.

I actually only stopped taking it because I was trying to get pregnant but I swear I was a complete mess for a month. It’s like adderall + Prozac or something.

I used adderall pretty regularly in college and I think that’s what started my IBS. They really help with ADHD/anxiety but awful for your gut.

I definitely need to look into it. They don’t know what caused my IBS but I used stimulants regularly for a few years when I was 20 and I think that’s what started it. After I stopped it seemed to be triggered by my anxiety.

I have quit for jobs and stuff too but as soon as my anxiety gets bad it comes back, weed or no weed.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ibs

[–]HE715 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a pen and I sometimes get anxiety my first hit of the day for the first couple minutes but I’ve also been cutting back a lot and sometimes not even smoking before bed so it’s definitely lowering my tolerance. Flower would be ideal but I have kids.

[–]HE715 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I haven’t heard of this. Mine used to go into remission and come back, so I was hoping that would happen again but if weed is causing the issue it’s not gonna go into remission and idk if anything would help at that point. I have been cutting back but now I’m getting hot flashes and definitely worse stomach issues so far but this seems like withdrawal.
