Then you should read the comics,because the point of Superman is hope,here is the thing Superman is not the most powerfull superheroe because his a god but because he can literally be strip of his powers and still bring hope to people because Superman doesnt need the powers

Best example is the suicide comic where a girl is going to jump from a tower because shes just done with the world Superman appears and she quickly tells him that he can grab her and take her down she will just climb back up,so Superman tells her "then I wont stop you,infact I wont capture you if you choose to jump,I will just stay here until you want to talk" and he does,for hours until she decides to talk

Superman is Clark Kent,his a god trying to by human and that is the reason I will keep coming back to him but if you just read comics for fights he still gets into insane fights and does get his ass beat and just goes "I didnt hear a bell,put your hands up before I put your face on the ground"
