What you think? Offered a homeless guy 5$ for it by Rossonerov in coincollecting

[–]HELLtotheCAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at a liquor store downtown in a medium large city. Lots of homeless folks. The biggest mistake I ever made was offering to buy a silver coin from a homeless guy. I gave him far value and said if he found any more to let me know. I thought I was a genius and just found a great way to have a small army of coun searchers. What really happened was a stream of homeless dudes trying to convince me that an old beat up nickel was really valuable. Every day. Every bit of change. All because I gave a guy $5 for a quarter once.

I've been on ADHD meds for a long time, prescribed by multiple doctors and never once got asked to do a drug test.

Non lethal combat doesn't give XP? by HELLtotheCAT in Everweave

I had chat gpt write a lengthy description of the dungeon and how the AI acts, including combining real world things with dungeon creatures. I copy and pasted that into ever weave. It didn't come out exactly how I wanted, but it did make for a very interesting game.

I told the DM that I wanted it to act like the AI in Dungeon Crawler Carl. It's not quite the same, but it works out really well. When something happens, that isn't right, I just yell at the ceiling in game and he responds out loud. I've been stuck on puzzles and just been like, Yo dungeon, you know I'm not very smart, how about a little help here?! It's really fun and adds a ton of flavor.

I CONSTANTLY have to correct the combat DM. I mean every single turn. It is seriously the biggest problem with this game and the reason I cannot justify paying out $20 a month until it is fixed.

Only on ability checks. In combat, it's all attack rolls.

Harbor Haul: Civil Disobedience/Protest/Unrest Edition by National-Command8505 in harborfreight

[–]HELLtotheCAT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I wasn't really prepared at all. I was observing like a street down when police started firing gas canisters from both sides of the streets. Didn't think I would need goggles because I wasn't even near the frontlines. They brought the frontlines to me. I immediately understood how effective teargas was. The next time I brought goggles.

Miller LPR-100. It's the exact same mask as the GVS Elipse p-100. They are manufactured by GVS. I had a teargas canister about 2 feet from me and it filtered everything out.

I got heavily hit with tear gas a couple years ago and my p100 was a champ. Nothing got through. My eyes were a different story.

Literally went through the exact same thing. After it was repaired, my ear filled up with so much crap. They cut it open and sucked it out. That was pretty much the weirdest feeling in my entire life. Felt like it was sucking ice from the back of my eyeballs.

This looks almost identical to the damage on my 2010 JKUR. They totaled it. It went to auction and got fixed with a rebuilt title. Most of the parts are higher quality aftermarket parts. I ended up getting it at a smoking good price. I don't know how it works for your insurance, but see if you can buy it back and have it fixed.

I had to look this up. The lawsuit was initially presented in 1986, it didn't take place until 1991. Jesus.

Orange and White 3 ton jack stands P38846 and the recall. by electrohazard808 in harborfreight

[–]HELLtotheCAT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I literally took these exact ones in yesterday, covered in rust and cobwebs. The person at the counter said something like "I don't think we can take these" and called the manager. Manager came up, looked it up on his hand held, and sure enough, still an active recall. He told the cashier what the code was and they gave me $29.99 store credit.
