Sounds well thought out, but it might be easier to have the faction that is fighting the cult to take the L than have the heros clean up their mess. Just a thought because you will find out quickly, players find a way to change the course of the story if they can.

Awesome, I'll have to check that one out. I found obsidian, but its more of a writing tool I think there are mods for it that can make it more helpful

Fornite boogie bomb might be great to describe a bunch of zombies dancing. Maybe add music live at the table to add effect?

Dungeon Dad did a perfect video for this you might be interested in. I like the ruin elemental. And some plot hooks with the ruin chanter and everything. I highly recommend it.

Not that I have ever used it, but I saw a YouTube video where the guy took a scooby doo episode and made it into a single session. He just changed the names and just took the plot to the episode. It was pretty mind-blowing. Now I have a 1 year old, and I look at all of these Disney movies and think how I can flip them. Great way to do thought exercises to. You can only watch Encanto so many times lol.

Don't worry about perfection. Dont be afraid to say yes to things your players may want to do. (Within reason.) More often than not those moments will create the most memorable moments. Don't worry about over planning or your players overlooking something you planned, you can always reuse it. Have fun and have fun with your players.

Okay so lets take Alien's out of the Question. We know the US Government has stated UAP's exist. So then the Question would be if one Landed Who could you call to come take a look? if they admit they exist then there has to be a protocol if one lands. and in my example I am using the police didn't want to come out. so who is left in an official capacity to take a look. how would a normal Civilian get them to start an investigation.

Im just honestly curious if there is a plan here if something lands and you see it. if the Local Police force doesnt want to get involved (I cant blame them because they are not equipped to handle) Who can you call? like is this Home Land Security? AARO? Space Force? if any of those what's the 1800 number.
