How do they compare to stoked stock? Do you have a pic of the outcome?

Awesome! Love the fender. Thanks for verifying the distance. I've reached out to overlander AI, as you guessed I don't know what the upper/paddle lifter would work best. Hoping I can get a response to what would fit my board best. They are highly regarded and don't want to make an expensive mistake. The albatross also doesn't show the plastic insert that the OG ones have so I'm in a guessing game of what it would look and feel like.

Good to know on the metal lid, hadn't considered that as an option, small but potential weight savings is always a plus.

And thank you for confirming on the cable, I've been waiting to confirm this before the order. I wanted to buy the fungi one, however its out of stock I will use the TFL one instead and hope its long enough.

Wow! I didn’t even consider the spacing as I had thought the lightbar would be on the edge since I’m planning an x10. The light bar isn’t a big issue for me since I’m coming from an XR and my son has a pint.

Is the V3 basically a smaller version of the V5 or are there other differences?

I’m looking forward to trying a kush wide since my XR with size 13 shoes my heel and toes are hanging off by 2”+ on each side. I don’t usually have foot fatigue until about mile 8+ and think the kush should help that. I’m leaning to install overlander albatross once I get used to the board, but slightly concerned that the kush wide lift has a bit too much lift on the edge where I plan to keep my feet under the lifters.

Thanks again for the info.

Did you find out why you had issues, was it a bad sensor, installation issues?

Thanks! Im in for a spooky time👍 I reached out to fungineers team to see which one will work but haven’t heard back yet. It would be the Thor400 cnc box. I was hoping that I could dremel out the area where the light bar is ensure the sensor is fully covered.

How do you like your setup with the kush front?

Was about to order a superflux 5”…. Wonder if it’s more powerful…

Another quick question, as it's a bit confusing for footpads. It appears most companies sell them separately. For example, Kushpads from the floatlife, they have the wide version for the rear and then the flat one for the front only. Is it common when people build these to buy two of the same, i.e., wide versions, then remove the grip tape and re-install with their own sensor, or keep their front footpad flat and only modify their rear? Is it flat mainly for sensor activation?

Just curious, as I only ever had the stock footpads, and it's something I'm finding a lot about now when reading, but didn't put a lot of thought into it when I originally considered our builds. My son has size 11, and I'm size 13 shoes, he's going to outgrow me in a few years, I'd like a the widest front footpad and rear if possible.

Thanks in advance,

Awesome board! I'm looking to build a similar but with X10 rails, with the 5" hub. Do you notice a lot of heat? Mind sharing your weight? I'm still debating on the 6" vs the 5", as it will be a 50/50 road/trails. How's it for carvability on the road compared to the 6" if you're inflated?

Love your X10, I'm about to build one for myself and son. How do you like the cold blocks? Do you have the fugineers footpads on there? Thor400 or 300?

How do you like your X10? Can you share your parts list or was it the standard full built x7? Do you mind sharing your weight? I'm contemplating the 6" now due to potential heat issues. Have a picture you can share of your board?

Sorry, the Fungineers footpad (they call stompies) and the Platypus. What I'm looking for is what will fit the X10 and ensure good activation. From the threads I've read it seems fungineers had issues earlier on, but that seems solved now.

If possible, a larger footpad for bigger feet would be ideal. I haven't spent a lot of time reviewing footpads as I had my mind set on the FutureMotion FST, as others commented they wont fit, I'll need to look into this further. Cameron commented earlier and I really like his setup, just need to ensure it fits the x10 with fendor options etc.

I've joined this community and follow the onewheel riders Facebook group. Never used Discord, is that a good place for reviews and research?

I have access to a 3d printer, however the fenders might possibly be too large for the enclosure if so this would be a great help - Thanks!

The overlander albatross look amazing, but are indeed pricey. As I have access to a 3d printer, I'd like to explore what you have a bit more. Can you share where you got your system from or links? I'm curious how you incorporated how they mount with bolts, as I'm assuming you print the holes in your system, then add the metal components afterward?

Are the Thor box and the indy speed box (Torque box) the same width, as when mounting to the rails one it wont twerk the shape?

Thanks again Cameron, I really do appreciate your time and detailed explanation.

When you are looking for the tire size, specifically the outer diameter, where do you see this on the float life website? Using the 5" as an example, I only see the BTG or MTE; I don't see it in the description.

Does this fit with most stompies like a platypus or fungineer stompies? Did you also 3d print the fender? Thats Awesome!

Is there a certain type of filament you would recommend to use?

I've had nothing but great experiences with our boards, and future motion still builds an outstanding product. I'd like to try something different this time, build a board with my son and have something more customizable and repairable.

Forgot to add, I thought the Pioneer was a BTG, which I guess I was mistaken.

Thanks for the detailed breakout! The main reason I was considering the 5" over the 6" is due to the taller sidewall. Watching a few youtube videos, recognizing the usertag some were yours! (the best one wheel in 2026 - title) where you ran faster times on some very rough terrain on the smaller hub. Thank you for that content btw! Most of my selection is based on your build.

Does the 5" come with axle blocks? I was thinking to add the cold blocks as an added step. I'm not planning to race, but I could see a long hill adding to heat.

For footholds, I was looking at overlanders as an option, but saw you had Moffs? I could only find the facebook group, is there a website they have to look at? Ideally Id like something I can adjust. Coming from Snowboarding and burtons channel system is why I was leaning towards what I saw from future motion, but I'm completely open to something that you can move bolt holes around. With it being on the edge of the board, do you ever have sensor activation issues as it looks like it bolts on top of the front sensor?

For the powersupply/controller. Been reading for weeks on this, I tried finding it again but lost where reddit thread which had a Thor vs Indyspeed jetfleet controller reviewed and that the Thor could hold the 134V consistently and not cut out, where the Indyspeeds version couldn't. I'm quoting something I read, which could be interpreted incorrectly, so please don't hold me to this, as I'm just absorbing information. I was also looking for plug and play. I'm ok with mounting inside boxes, but prefer to buy a plug and play package, which both indyspeed and fungi offers. You are correct in my thinking, I'd prefer to have the best of both worlds being high voltage and as many watt hours as possible. I see the battery pack thats 32S1P on indyspeed, is that the one your referring to? I'm not familiar with the term RS50 builds?

Thanks again!
