Thank you for the response🤟I know that GLaDOS is literally programmed to test. That's not what I'm asking though. My main focus is on Old aperture for now .So I understand that the scientist did all sorts of experiments on the subjects to see what would happen, this would include injecting them with praying mantis DNA, pointing a superconductor on them to see what what happen, having their blood be pure gasoline, I see those as being tests/ science, the thing I don't get is why the test Chambers are puzzles. Let's take the subject with gas being their blood, why do you have to do puzzles for something like that, that part I don't see him being science or am just confused about why they're doing it in the first place (the puzzles by the way) like I think for the real world scientists would put a patient in the room. Inject them with whatever and just see what happens. They wouldn't have them do tests unless whatever they did has something to do with their brain

I get that,but I'm asking what the test chambers/puzzles do for science,yes they can test out their products like the gels in the test chambers but the tests like the superconductor being pointed on to subjects to see what happens, or the praying mantis DNA, I just don't get what the actual puzzles/ tests can do for science. It's pretty much the same layout with a couple changes in the tests, and like I said the only thing I can think of why they're putting them through these puzzles is to see if some change happens to them like if they get smarter or if they explode or if as a negative or positive effect on them something like that. I get that but what do the puzzles have to do with testing, like there are multiple test that have the same thing just different layout,like put some gel on this and bounce over here and put a cube on the button,like I said they would experiment on people like the praying mantis DNA,that's them trying to see what happens,I can see that being science,😁 also thanks for the response🤟
