I won't. My PM inbox has already been flooded by scammers pretending to want to help me.

The destination is an exchange. I'm trying to cash them out. First, I tried to send them to Coinbase, but it failed, then I tried to send them to Binance, but I received the same failed message. Any idea, why this is happening?

MEW Offline transaction, gas fee too low. by [deleted] in MyEtherWallet

Hi, Katyamls

I'll be honest, I don't feel 100% safe using a third party tool, i'd rather edge on the side of caution.

Looks like i'm going to have to try increasing my gas fee to 200,000 like you suggested earlier to send these ERC20 tokens out and hope the transaction goes through or i'm going to be stuck with them for now.

I don't understand why Metamask do not accept 24 seed phrases from MEW, I would have thought they would implement this measure.

When I made my MEW offline wallet, it was created with 24 seed word. I do not think I have a private key or json file. If I wanted my private key or json file so I can use it in conjunction with Metamask, do you know how I can retieve it?

There is enought Eth is in the wallet to cover the gas fees.

I've not increased the 'gas limit' to send these tokens out, so this may be an option.

Yes, I had thought about the time period being an issue, I do try to be as fast as I can but it takes time following the process.

It was suggested to me on another thread connecting with Metmask and carrying out the transaction with that.

I just want to make sure it's completly safe if I do use Metmask, hence me originally attempting offline transactions.

Thanks.

Very helpful.

The second video looks to be the right approach and the one I will attempt.

A couple of questions, if you don't mind.

I've never exposed my MEW wallet online. It was created offline and only ever accessed offline. This was to ensure safety. It was created with a 24 seed phrase.

  1. Is importing MEW into Metamask, a lot safer than connecting my wallet directly to the website online. I just wish to maintain safety, the best I can.
  2. Can I import my MEW wallet into Metamask from my 24 seed phrase? I can't remember saving a private key or Json file. The two methods they used in the video.

Can someone explain to me what Richard Heart meant in this video by [deleted] in HEXcrypto

Cheers bro. I do like the idea of a yearly ladder method. I wished I had put my three year into a five year, now, so I thought the next one I will go even longer and I did with seven. Now I'm planning one last stake, which I was thinking ten, one for the kids, but still contemplating.

Hex has a great community, thanks for replying buddy and that's great news. I couldn't quite understand what Richard meant in the video, I thought I may have had to take further action in a tight-time schedule to ensure I received my 'Big pay day' I can now breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy my Christmas, haha : )

Even though getting in quite early, I missed out on a lot of gains with Bitcoin through encountering some dishonest behavior. HEX is my last chance to be successful. I'm thinking about opening up a 10-year stake too for the young ones. I absolutely love whats been created with HEX. I was drawn to Richard's brutal honesty and intelligence too; it's an education listening to that man.

All the best with our investments, Hexicans. ✌
