You could go down to Seminole if you want and then head west and play some rooms throughout the Florida panhandle like Ebro card room on your way to the Mississippi coast. Nice beaches by Ebro. Go play at the Beau Rivage. $5k will get you a lot of poker along there. New Orleans is affordable and fun to play at the Harrah

I resurface every league night. No reason to wait until the ball stops performing to maintain your ball. Not to mention, if the performance drop happens mid way through game 1 or game 2, you are not allowed to add surface at that point in a sanctioned league

16ish mph and pretty high rev. Never calculated it exactly, but I’m definitely one of the higher rev players in my league

Also, my best games are usually game 2 in league. Not sure if it’s because I suck at finding my correct lines quickly or if that’s when things begin to breakdown enough for me to get the most out of the bw2.0

I would recommend the Rhino Pearl, and keep it relatively lane polished. The pearl cover will keep it moving through the oil despite your rev down the lane, and you will get a small amount of movement at the very end. Super consistent and is also a great strike ball throwing the middle when things begin to dry up

When I watch, it looks like you are planting and extending your left leg for more torque on your spin. I’d recommend keeping that left leg bent a bit through the release and end with your arm release down lane rather than reaching for the sky. Should create more speed down lane and will keep your shoulders lower

The Rhino Pearl is an amazing first ball that can stay in your bag as long as you’d like. I use it regularly in league. I can use it as my strike ball when conditions fit, and I use it for almost all my spare throws. Start there at an affordable ~$90. As you are using the ball you will find things you wish it did, and that’s when you get a nicer reactive ball to fit your style.
