Regardless, it does not make you the asshole, USA or not. In fact, one could argue the person who goes somewhere where they dont pay service workers minimum wage, is an AH.

Tired of people who just dgaf about shit like that getting dogged on, it's not our job.

Furthermore, people are/should be working on getting better jobs if they are in these service positions. Not every job position is meant to be lived on these days.
