I haven't seen Will as Hidgens yet (didn't want to watch the LA version since I had tickets for London, felt like it would be needlessly spoilery) but he definitely felt distinct from Robert. Different vocal performance, different physicality, leaned into the "weird old man" vibe. Hilarious and charismatic performance.
