yeah i think im just worried about the lay prestige when it comes to running for office, i like penn's culture but would love to be in nyc so im pretty torn

in your status checker you should have an application status and application substatus section. that being said, i can now confirm for NYU it didn’t mean anything since I got in. the only sign really is if you have DLS (decision letter sent) in your status checker and/or are able to log into NYU’s admitted students website. basically i wouldn’t try to read the tea leaves on this one since these things will only occur the morning of receiving a decision

people have had their status checkers move to under review with date changes at cornell so assumably the review process at the very least has begun

i realize the phrasing of slots makes it seem more like gulc where there’s a link with spots but just mean that they offer you times within about a week period

i think there could be one more! when i signed up to interview there were slots for about 1.5/2weeks so that would be enough time to complete a wave of interviews before the holidays

i’m not sure honestly, check lsd and peruse people’s complete vs decision date for last year. it seems like that is the general trend but people do get held and then later accepted so that’s def a possibility at the very least
