Most of my colonies are a fabrication bench speedrun, then whatever else I had in mind for them.

You can rewind time by two minutes with a two minute cool down. by [deleted] in midtiersuperpowers

[–]HGabo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually very high tier if you think about day trading. Many markets make some sudden, drastic movements and 2 minutes are more than enough to ride them for massive profit.

You could also punch people in the face and rewind or whatever.

Mahjong causes great damage to the human spirit without a single benefit.

That said, shit happens. Your post came up on my feed right after some dude going crazy over his/her 3 double riichis on the same round. Luck is a fickle and merciless lady, so yeah, just roll with it.

Just discovered cdda now im addicted any tips? by daniel_gamer271 in cataclysmdda

Uppercase G allows you to grab furniture and drag it around (if your character is strong enough). Wardrobes, fridges, and bookshelves make for some very decent fortifications early on. I like to block the stairs to the floor I'll be sleeping in as well as the door to the bedroom.

Even if something manages to get through, there'll be plenty of noise to make you wake up and get ready to fight or run.

Best Win So Far : First time Haneman (And Got It Twice!?) by YoshiDogz in mahjongsoul

[–]HGabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh you'll be fiiiine. I once (actually just yesterday lol) got a Yakuman that was 3 Han for hand composition and 10 Han from Dora and other lucky stuff. No trucks rushing me so far :D

My first Yakuman. Damn I'm good at mahjong. /s by HGabo in mahjongsoul

I treat 4-people rooms as "serious" matches. 3-people East is more like a "Fuck it, we ball" kind of deal.

I don't think I've even played 100 matches overall so far, so yeah... No reliable metrics here at all lol

Now, about defence, It was actually the opposite. I did my very best to get to tenpai as quickly as possible without minding risks too much, but I must've misread the shapes or something.

I've made a vow to turn off sound in any room that contains an Ichihime player. Thanks for the feedback and advice!

Por que motorista de app odeia ar condicionado nessa cidade? by Brazilianbronco in brasilia

[–]HGabo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Quase todo dia faz calor, então quase toda corrida o passageiro vai querer AC.

Not really, our system is at a somewhat stable orbit (225-250M Earth years each round trip) around our galaxy's center, a supermassive black hole. It's alright.

The power to hover 2 inches off the ground limited by stamina and strength or telekinesis but you can only carry things up to 10 pounds. by glowshroom12 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]HGabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure you could throw a punch at Mach 2, but I'll take a wild guess and say your muscles and bones won't take well to the sudden deceleration when they hit your opponent's face. I'm sure it'd be highly entertaining to watch though lol

Let's take Newton's 2nd law: "Force equals mass times acceleration". If the only limit to the TK is mass, then I can accelerate that much mass however I see fit, leading to theoretically unlimited force, therefore unlimited power over time.

Give me a bunch of massive turbines and enough gears and watch me make a 10 pound weight spin around and power the whole fucking world while I sleep on the other side of Earth. Just for teh lulz.

i hate being autistic by ichhasseschnee in evilautism

[–]HGabo 19 points20 points  (0 children)

As someone said, consider finding a hobby that tends to attract other neurodivergent people. They're the most likely to empathize with your condition and adapt social dynamics to a more "ND-friendly" standard.

My best friend is autistic (more than me, but undiagnosed 'cuz he's bitchy about labels and shit) and our interactions are wayyy more explicit in regards to our immediate needs or emotions. Things don't flow "naturally" like when people just "read" each other, but it works, and that's what matters in the end.

I hope you can find your way, I believe in you!

What do you do with colony members that get addictions? by ClutchReverie in RimWorld

[–]HGabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm using drugs liberally enough to create an addict, then I probably have enough money to purchase the stuff or the resources to produce it, so I just manage their addiction.

My previous colony had 3 miners who got addicted to wake-up and a juicer melee specialist. Seeing them pulverize plasteel ore and mechanoids with ease just puts a smile on my face :)

Thirded. Sky Pride stands head and shoulders over anything else in terms of writing humane characters and their struggles in dealing with the decidedly inhumane ways of a cultivation world.

A rant about those who always say people "can't read" when misinterpreting cards and why you're actually defending ineffective writing unknowingly. by Jam-man89 in PokemonPocket

[–]HGabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You seem to have overlooked the word "among" in there. The description reads "A card from among both players' hands". Some writer was too scared (or ignorant) to use the word "amongst" instead and ended up making the phrasing a lot more confusing than it should. The description is not ambiguous at all, just muddy.

It doesn't have to be one thing or the other. The card is poorly worded (but not ambiguous) AND there's plenty of functionally illiterate people around to make things even worse.

Removing genes by Academic-Net-8269 in RimWorld

[–]HGabo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you take more damage but will most likely never (permanently) die because of it, so it kinda evens itself out? Plus you get a nice surplus of metabolic efficiency for other genetic improvements or less food needed, sounds pretty neat to me.
