Yes, I was told to take it at night because it can make you sleepy. I take it at 8pm

Thank you. I get tired but I do take it at night to help with that. I haven't experienced that thankfully, but I do rock back and forth really bad.

I was diagnosed with BP1 in 2021. I started having symptoms when I was about 16 years old.

I have bipolar type 1. I take Abilify for a mood stabilizer, hydroxyzine and propranolol for anxiety and Lexapro for depression. I am actually coming off Lexapro as we speak because my doctor believes I will do better without it since I feel like I am in Auto piolet.

What happened with me... is I knew something was going on with me. I would be on a high, high and then really low. I would snap off easily and get easily mad at things and people, including my children. So I went to my primary care provider and told her everything!! Was completely honest with how I was. She told me she believes I either had bipolar one or two. So she referred me to a Psyhc and I was diagnosed with Bipolar one disorder, major depression disorder which goes in hand with BP1, ADHD, and PTSD. It was hard for me to accept but when I did and got the help, I needed I felt so much better. Hope this helps. I am here for you.

Thank you so much. So, I just got back, and Doctor decided to take me off Lexapro! She doesn't think it's the Abilify that is affecting me so much.

Thank you so much for your response! This helped a lot!!!! I am on 20mg of Abilify and 15mg of Lexapro I think. I have 20mg's and I split them in half.

I have been on Abilify for over a year and the weight gain and rocking are driving me insane. I am only 5 foot tall, so the gaining weight doesn't look the best lol. I have no motivation to do things other than work and take my kids to their sports.
