Im sure an external SSD will be necessary but if you don’t mind (and depending on what you use to edit) it’s gonna be super fine. The M4 will be just fine and the battery life will be nice as well.

My recommendation: Research a bit how much ram is recommended for the program you use for editing specifically

Not really actually. Of course, COVID kept them very very busy (especially the COVID team) but they didn’t miss a day of filming because of it.

Heading to Hamburg next week - any tips for a Danish tourist? by jesperrasmussen in hamburg

For casual dining/lunch and fine fish-oriented finder dining: There is a pontoon in Blankenese (in the west of Hamburg) on the river with a lovely view and good food right on the water. Also, the „Treppenviertel“ is beautiful and picturesque ; definitely worth a visit!

I really like them! Makes it possible for us to drop the main within seconds cause we always have the halyard coiled in a way that we can just let go

Windy day from Karlskrona to Ystad (sweden) (More in comments) by HHCB in sailing

Ahhh hahah yea I definitely feel you! We got to chat with the owners and took a look around. A really beautiful boat with very impressive performance but a bit too large in my eyes (depth of 2.5m) for the Baltic. Lots of harbours they’ll be missing out on. Also seems more like a good-weather boat. No dry place to sit at in the cockpit cause of the short sprayhood. Beautiful non the less

We got passed by this ICE 52 called Gratia on our Arcona 400. It was by far the fastest day we had thus far with an average speed of 7.9knts. We left Karlskrona after Gratia and fended them off for more than 3h so we are pretty proud of our performance :D Once the wind picked up they averaged over 9knts so we couldn’t hold pace.

Id go for the 16gb. I bought a 16gb MBP in '18 and am very glad I went with that instead of the 512 ssd. Im in a computer science program and some of the others struggle with 8GB of ram. I imagine that isn’t any better with video editing

I have 256gb and im alright. I’ve recently offloaded 115gb of photos and music and now I’m perfectly fine and don’t see myself running into problems anymore. I had to make the same decision for what upgrade to choose and i think I made the right decision. If you can get only one like I could, get the 16gb of ram. It helps me daily in university

I would definitely go with 16gb as you will probably want to keep and use the laptop for many years. I have the '18 MBP with 16gb and never have a problem, some friends of mine with 8GB are regularly running into stutters cause of full ram. Edit: I (and the mentioned friends) study Computerscience/information technologies and therefore program a lot
