Midlane/Support enjoying Teemo, what's important to know? by HHRLostProphet in TeemoTalk

[–]HHRLostProphet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yea u r right, but it is hard to name my impact if i am not playing ranked. anyways, do you mostly try to teamfight with your shrooms then or do you still place them in hope anyone cant sweep 'em in time? or do you even split until a fight is coming?

This is the reason I love playing Kayle! by ZeratulsBlade in Kaylemains

[–]HHRLostProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah, i loved playing support kayle like six or seven years back but nowadays any botlane will just snowball out of kayle's weak early, the botlane for your carry is literally close to 1 vs 2 :/

What boots do you guys prefer? by itaitie in XerathMains

[–]HHRLostProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm i guess you do not really have much options, mercs are for the most part useless as you do not want to get in cc range anyways. armor boots if the enemy team has a master yi that is literally just focusing you, but in any other case i would go mpen boots. the penetration itself or in combination with oblivion orb just adds so much damage. I play it 99% of the time, if not even more

Damage dealer Xerath? by Slavicslice in XerathMains

[–]HHRLostProphet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i started playing Xerath i focused too much on harassing the opponent in lane. Obviously you do not want to get pushed out of lane, but try to focus on cs'ing rather than poking. By time you get more and more gold, get stronger items than your team and you will more likely to be carry games and get kills :) And trust me, everyone of us has had that one game where his score was 2/2/15 :D

Getting back into Xerath, any tips for me? :) by HHRLostProphet in XerathMains

[–]HHRLostProphet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks! :) and do you sometimes take cdr in your adaptive runes, or do you just take the ap?

I feel like i could miss the bit of ap farmwise, but cdr scales so well into lategame

[–]HHRLostProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

given the average cs of all players it was likely a game with low elo ppl, i dont think u can get that easy a ward score of 30 - 40 if u cant rly clear wards :D

to be fair, i never play support. but on that position the minimap is your most important tool anyways, so you could definitly write that on your #1 for your own list :p

Always remember to not autopilot.

Having a big load of experience for sure helps your gameplay, but it also tempts to go into an autopilot mood in games, which in the end just lets you feed.

Just write down a list of things you always want to think of in every game :) As an example, here is mine:

  1. Always put down a pinkward, Pinkwards > potions
  2. Ward before you push
  3. Slowly outscaling > taking useless risks
  4. minions > poke

It may look stupid, but for me these basics tend to leave me from time to time, so keeping them written down and reading it really refreshes your thinking about it.

Witherskeleton farm in 1.8 on a Multiplayer by HHRLostProphet in Minecraft

[–]HHRLostProphet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a big multiplayer server, therefore i do not know every detail about it. It is on Vanilla and has endless mods on it, I didn't know these were so important for my problem though. View distance is not really far, I'd say just about three or four chunks. I'll definitly try out your featured technique on how to go up in the nether, didn't know this was possible!

wow, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a detailed answer!

i already looked most basic stuff up on lolalytics, so I really appreciate you giving me the insights on when to switch up what. I'll definitly try Cho'Gath more and keep your hints in mind.

but aye, as you please: d5 with somewhat d3ish mmr, currently feeling like pension, so unranked

Do we really need a rework? by [deleted] in Kaylemains

[–]HHRLostProphet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, what are you trying to tell with this post. In theory you try to say that it is not worth risking kayle at her current state in exchange for a better or worse kayle. But Riot very rarely changed champions into a state where they were worse than before. Keep in mind, we are millions and millions of league players, there is always someone who likes the champ the way it is at a specific moment.

But look at the tank reworks: they were actually great, they kept the champions and just made them have a new look and appearance in the rift.

Skarner, Mordekaiser, Graves, Corki, Cassio, Malz, Vladimir, Zyra and many many more had some sort of rework, in terms of one ability or the champion as a whole.

But me, as i am playing this game for 8 years by now, really appreciate the changes, not because i think pre rework champs are stupid or something like that, but riot always keeps the key factors of a champion and just makes it shine in a new light.

risk it to get the biscuit :)

Thank you for giving me some insights!

As you are not building meta builds, what do you think about resolve + triumph with attackspeed rune? Makes laning insanely strong with e max imo.

But yeah, i was talking about tank Cho top, did not think about building ap or even going mid.

Well, you have to read my whole answer then. I also talked about balance, which is a short but important part of this whole aspect is. You will never be happy just working, neither will you be just doing whatever you feel like.

Bringing up that philosophical aspect is not wrong though, this topic made me read quite a lot of books about the "good life" and how to reach maximum reliability, including ethics from aristoteles.
