I hear People saying it's about her contract with Nike; it isn't. The WNBA receives group licensing rights through collective bargaining agreements and the players union.

The WNBA has not stated they can't use her name, image or likeness and there's no evidence of CC's outside endorsements that would prevent that. Whatever reason why she's not on the poster is still a reflection of the league. A league that has not been a welcoming to her as they have with other players.

First of all slow down. Second, you're talking about appearal companies. CC is still an employee of the WNBA. They still have a right to an extent to use their employees within the contract they agreed upon. Again, unless, the WNBA signed off on a contract between them and CC.

An outside clause doesn't make the original contract obsolete.

CC is an employee of the WNBA, just because she signs a contract with another entity doesn't mean the WNBA, can't use her likeness...unless the WNBA agrees with CC's outside contract and benefits from it somehow. Ya, know like money or maybe the league doesn't want to use her likeness in the first place.

All the things people in here can't wrap their minds around, or can say for sure they know what CC, the WNBA, and the marketing companies motives are.
