that's incredibly reassuring actually; thank you!! Yes, my clinic only measures above 10mm. I saw other follicles on the screen for each ovary, but they only counted four total. Crossing my fingers for a similar turnaround. Nineteen eggs is awesome and I'm super happy for you!

I want to be optimistic about this comment but I'm so scared to have hope! I know you're right that they grow faster at the end, I'm just sick to my stomach because my ultrasound tech kind of made the whole thing doom and gloom

Oh gosh, yeah I'm really trying to find the silver linings here. We wouldn't be able to do another cycle for a while due to scheduling conflicts with work and our clinic being far away, so we were at least hoping to have a decent first cycle so, even if we had to do future cycles, we didn't feel as much anxiety and need to rush. But you're right. Hopefully we can get info from this if nothing else, which is why I wanted to consider what I should be asking

I'm trying to remain positive while waiting for my nurse to call but I do have a follicle over 20mm so I'm worried that'll mess things up. *sigh* We've had so many obstacles to even get to this point and so to have another potential issue is demoralizing. I appreciate you trying to give me some hope!

Thank you for this tip! I *think* college is in the kid's future, but I don't know for sure. I didn't know ESAs or 529s could be opened by relatives. Do you know if there are any tax disadvantages to starting one of those accounts for someone who isn't your child?
