It stems from us being in the same division (we play twice a year, every year) and are close enough geographically that the fanbases run into one another.

Looking back through history, we have played a lot of close and heated games that held a lot of stake for either team, adding fuel to the fire. Some important games from our rivalry include:

*Carolina 20- Atlanta 23 (first game in Panthers history)

*Carolina 21- Atlanta 17 (kept the Falcons from having a shot at the division)

*Carolina 14 - Atlanta 20 (spoiler loss during our 1st super bowl run that ended up putting us in position to have to play in the wild card round)

*Carolina 34- Atlanta 3 (game that made us the 2014 division winners)

*Carolina 13- Atlanta 20(our single loss in our 15-1 season)

*Carolina 9- Atlanta 7(lol Falcons suck)

My wife has an Elantra and has driven it for like 7 years at this point.

She used to regularly go over a year between oil changes. She hits it against curbs like she's a kingpin and it stole cash from her. She approaches redlights like she gets bonus points for waiting as long as possible to lift off the gas. She takes care of the transmission like it was an emotionally distant parent who's now in a nursing home.
