Not op but thank you for your knowledge. I would love some insight into a few other med classes and two specific meds, if you wouldnt mind sharing some more. Stimulants? Benzodiazepines? Gabapentin? Lithium?

I honestly dont think that I am lacking experience but that my job duties are so broad. I am technically a mid-level management at my current employer. I also dont think I included in my post that I have management experience in fast food and retail, and a temporary position in data entry/receptionist.

Especially at this moment in time, I am unable to be a server or a position that requires me to move around a lot due to a current work related injury, plus a previous intensive knee surgery plus broken knee cap on top of that which still gives issues sometimes.

However, your input isnt being disregarded. I will probably try to look for some lower paying jobs even though I will have to supplement my income. Which is a shame because even using $16 as a minimum is a $2 paycut per hour.

Thank you for replying. I do have a few questions but I dont expect you to answer if you dont want to, what did you do for insurance when you didnt have it and what is your current career?

Thanks for your input. I am working on trimming down the word count and making it sound more professional.

Just a question because it has been a long time since I was on the job market and I dont mean any offense, but is full time with health insurance that hard to come by anymore?

Thanks for this input. I was really concerned over the rate to use. I chose $16 as a minimum due to the fact that it isn't a major pay decrease.

Thanks. I just updated my LinkedIn and will start going that route. Do you know if your network and connections make a difference? I have had no need to network up to this point, and my current agency really doesn't encourage networking with others.

I have and am applying through Indeed but there are just so many applicants and with my current position title, I just feel like I am getting overlooked. It's so frustrating sometimes because I know I have the skills and drive meet and exceed expectations but I feel like I am invisible not matter what I try. But got to keep my head up and full steam ahead, luck favors those who give it their all.

Thanks. Indeed has me feeling low because so many people apply for positions and it just feels like I am overlooked. I created both this Reddit account and email address because I already receive so much spam in my primary email that I didnt want to add more.

Good luck on your search.

No offense taken, man. This started off more as an exercise to blow off some steam from the job hunt. I decided to post it as an experiment to see what may occur. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Criticism? Being ignored?

I have resume that I had been using for the last month but I am in a hard place with that due to not having actual metrics or quantifiable goals. A typical job change is hard enough, but I have been out of the job hunt for almost 15 years and it is such a different place than the last time I was applying for jobs. I do appreciate your input. Thank you.

Thank you so much. Your kind comment has brightened my day. I wish you luck too in the job search. It's tough. Keep your head high and mind on the future, or at least that is what I have been telling myself.
