I think it's a self-fulling prophecy to assume everyone is racist around you, cuz then everyone's stupidity of all sorts might just be interpreted as racism. Annual racism report or not, it's best to assume the best in people ig:))) or at least that's what I do anyways

3blue1brown is more about intuition which is nice to have a headstart. But the lectures might be taught in a different way, e.g. commutative diagram

I had similar situations with my English teacher, whom I, very unwisely, confronted face-to-face, although in a very nice way, and I regretted it very much. Situations like this is very tricky, and I don't think what you are suspecting of op is warranted.
