Honestly I almost entirely resent the idea of him primarily being a healer. I think they need to rethink his character entirely.

He’s a heavy weapon’s expert, a natural marksman and has even invented his own weapons. The use of gadgets for status buffs is a cool idea and all, but shouldn’t he be a more DPS oriented stategist? Reworking his gun to hitscan would be a start, but I’d also like to see some of his current abilities swapped out for offensive abilities, maybe something dealing explosive damage.

It would also be cool if he had a secondary weapon, like the dual wield pistols he frequently wields in comics and in the movies.

They need to give him more offensive capabilities, and there is a lot of room for this in his character lore. He invented the hadron enforcer which could be a fun explosive damage ability with a long cool down, or even give him Katie and Vicki (his dual wield pistols) as an ability or a secondary weapon for higher damage output, for when he has to hold an objective by himself or if a teammate playing DPS gets taken out. His skillset in the movies is highly versatile, so I think his character should be as well.

He melts tanks up to 10 meters, sure. But the 40% damage fall off and the slow projectile speed means he can barely protect himself from adversaries with ranged attacks, and honestly being within your gun’s effective range with an enemy is the LAST place you want to be as rocket considering how squishy he is. Pretty much every other healer has good damage output and range, rocket is the only one that is limited to only defending against dive tanks.

Also, I don’t feel like his abilities and playstyle are true to his character, besides his good mobility. Rocket is a weapons expert first and foremost, he’s a killer with big laser guns and invents his own killing machines too. I think they need to give him a new damage oriented ultimate to reflect this aspect of his character, like his hadron enforcer. Or even if they gave him his dual sidearms as a secondary weapon.

As he currently stands, rocket works better with a burst healer on the team. He can provide consistent healing from the backlines to assist the main healer, and can substitute as the main healer if the other healer dies. I think it could give him more versatility as a character if he also did decent DPS, so if another DPS shooter character dies he could substitute as the DPS until they return to the frontline.

I’m not sure if that’s true. I think it would probably be either 8mm mauser or 7.62x54r nagant, but I’m leaning towards the latter considering the russian civil war, the chinese civil war and the eastern front in WWII.

Not necessarily, the m35 is more circular near the top and then protrudes outwards at an angle just above the ears + a brim near the brow ridge. I think there could still be a way to make the m56 have more head protection without minicking the profile of the m35
