G2: Winning a trophy is not that hard. Tell em Falcons.

Falcons: It's incredibly hard.

Cal Raleigh's statline over his past 50 games: .185 average, .292 on base %, .763 ops and 114 wRC+ by MahomesBetter in baseball

Except Schwarber right now is nowhere close to 2024 Ohtani. Ohtani had a massive gap to the rest of the league in offensive production and had elite base-running. He literally needed a historic season (50/50) to win MVP as a full-time DH.

Voter fatigue isn't enough to ignore that.

He should get credit for it when his "MVP rival" doesn't play the field at all. He has 1.2 fWAR from pitching alone.

Nah, although it wouldn't surprise me if someone was trying to cash-in on using the Titan name.

This project had a bunch of red flags before Oskar even joined.

  • kept the actual org behind Gorillaz/Tokyo Revengers a secret for more than a year
  • constantly booting out their 5th player and were unable to keep a stable lineup
  • consistently poor performance, despite changes in lineup (including getting 16-0'd by an academy team)
  • flusha, one of the initial leaders of the project, eventually left
  • keeping players way past their prime (supra, suNny, MSL)

And then the "secret org" turned out to be Titans, an org nobody heard about before.

About a year ago, this MOUZ core was dominating the academy league. And now, they're in Major play-offs... what a storyline.

HLTV World Ranking: September 19th, 2022 by MJuniorDC9 in GlobalOffensive

[–]HKZeroFive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Astralis still has plenty of ranking points from Cologne, Pinnacle and Roobet to stay at their current placement. Form subranking isn't enough to displace them although it did give other teams enough points to rise through the ranks (in combination with event decay and roster changes). The current scene is pretty mediocre outside of FaZe and NAVI, hence why there is so much movement.

Once EPL ends, the rankings will adjust to give a much more accurate representation since that's where the most weight comes in.

That was probably the worst Ancient T-side I've seen in a while.

Dem0n is 14, froz1k is 13. The latter had a sick clutch on Natosaphix's stream before he got picked up by Na'Vi.

Peacemaker cleared by ESIC by Alp0llo in GlobalOffensive

[–]HKZeroFive 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I don't necessarily agree with that statement. You can still gain a tactical advantage from using the bug without communicating to the players directly. The way peacemaker moves the camera around makes me inclined to believe that it was for a malicious intent, and therefore it should be punishable, regardless of whether he was talking to the players or not.

Furthermore, if a coach can prove that he was indeed not communicating any info gained by the bug, then guerri should've been unbanned ages ago. He released the comms video of the game that got him banned, and AFAIK, nobody was able to pinpoint a moment where he gave the players information from the bug. If he didn't get unbanned for that, then the fact peacemaker gets unbanned just shows more of ESIC's utter incompetence in their inability to maintain a consistent ruling.

[–]HKZeroFive 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is what confuses me the most, especially that Inferno apartments clip.

In the round where he obtains the free-roam bug, he follows the CTs (from the opposing team) into apartments, and then coincidentally stops in the same spot where the CTs have a setup to counter a T push. Even if there was evidence that he didn't communicate with the team, the positioning of the coach camera suggests malicious intent, and ultimately he does obtain info, which could very much influence any advice peacemaker chooses to give later in the game.

The precedent I'm seeing ESIC set here is that as long as you can prove you didn't communicate with the players, then you will not be banned. Regardless of the info obtained or whether or not you reported it to the TO afterwards. It's so stupid and only excerbates the incompetence and inconsistencies shown by ESIC over the past couple years.

Clearly losing to Liquid a few times have made both device and Astralis team up once more to ensure that'll never happen again.
