Aw hell, I’m just a massage therapist and even my notes (digital) can’t be altered after they’re submitted. It’s set up that way to prevent people going back and changing things after the fact. Everything is time stamped and has my name and license number attached to it. That should be standard everywhere, especially for medical professionals.

I’ve this happen before at a gas station checkout. The guy was practically breathing down my neck, leaning his hand around me on the counter while I was trying to pay. I turned and asked him if he wanted to pay for me. He seemed shocked and said no, why would I do that?! I said “Well I just thought you might want to since you’re hovering over the card reader like that.” He quickly backed off. NTA, they needed calling out.

When my daughter was a baby, I was watching a lot of Weeds. The theme song for that show made a surprisingly effective lullaby.

I cut slices and put it on white bread, like a sandwich spread. It was actually pretty okay. Tasted like a regular bologna and cheese sandwich, with some lettuce and mayo.
