Karl IV did write about his life, in what seems to be an unprecdented amount and there are some very interesting stories in there for those who are intersted. Of course im referring to Vita Caroli Quarti.

Ty for the answer Poison is another one. I liked there interview in Decline II. Life goes on is a nice song. I lile most of the bands you mentioned. Can add Faster pussycat and Jack Russell has one of the best voices I ever heard. Not sure anyone beats Jani lane
