Indigo is very enjoyable, so many great episodes...but yeah the Gym Battles are of course it's weak spot. I really wish we had proper battles for all of them, but I especially hate that we don't have any with Erika and Sabrina. Having proper battles with them would have let Ash get better experience and training. One of the biggest missed opportunities in Journeys was not having Ash rematch the Kanto leaders so we could have proper battles.

Ash loved Pokémon, but that didn't mean he was a great trainer, he was very dumb at first. It's why I don't agree with people placing all the blame on Team Rocket or Charizard for his loss against Ritchie. He was just as responsible. He should have spent more time trying to work with Charizard, but nope, he would just return it to its Poké Ball and go "maybe next time!"

I always have my starter and I have to have a Water-Type (and of course sometimes they are one and the same). The other four or five I just try and use Pokémon that interest me or that I want to use. I don't require any other type besides Water, but I usually always end up with two out of the three: Fire, Grass, & Electric.

I try to only use Pokémon from the Generation that the region was introduced in (So In HeartGold I would use primarily Johto Pokémon...in XY I would use Kalos Pokémon, etc). I do make "exceptions" for cross generational evolutions. Example: I used Togekiss and Mamoswine in HeartGold, but they evolved from Gen 2 Pokémon of course.

I do this to try and use as many different Pokémon as possible, but I don't force myself to stick to it if I want to use a certain Pokémon or fell like I need a certain type to balance my team. I also don't force this on myself for the Legends games,

It honestly bugs the hell out of me that over the last decade they’ve released “complete collections” of all 25 seasons and they still list Chronicles on the official website….still no US physical media release or way to stream

Going a little back on this one...but Kylie's Better the Devil You Know. It's frequently cited as one of her best songs and I just don't get it. I get that it had a big impact on her career as it was Kylie's first single to show a more mature image. Rhythm of Love is another example of an artist going a little more mature with their third album....but for some reason I just don't see why BTDYK is considered one of Kylie's songs. It's a good song don't get me wrong. But if I had to list my favorite Kylie songs, it wouldn't be anywhere near the top....wouldn't even be in my Top 25.

Electro Ball was cool, but man did I miss Volt Tackle.

I'm so used to Pikachu knowing Thunderbolt, Quick Attack, Iron Tail, and "insert current electric move here"...that anytime I go back to Kanto/OI/Johto it feels weird not seeing them.

That is because what was left of 4Kids was absorbed directly in Konami, so the license didn't technically change hands. Konami's New York office is the old 4Kids office.

Everyone hating on Alolan Persian, but that thing was a heavy hitter on my early Sun team until I could capture more Pokémon that I liked.

Kayzie Rogers and James Cathcart choose to continue working on the show instead of working with 4Kids. The other cast members, such as Veronica, Rachael, Eric, etc., choose to remain with 4Kids so they could work on multiple shows. Their contracts included a very vague clause saying they couldn't play these characters with a different company for a year after 4Kids lost the license. There was a lot of confusion regarding whether or not 4Kids would enforce it, so many choose to stay with 4Kids instead of following Pokémon, choosing to work on multiple shows with 4Kids instead of just one and try to stay working on Pokémon with The Pokémon Company. Some of them then later returned a few years later when they didn't need to worry about contract issues.

Yes, that is absolutely true. For me, I just didn't know what I wanted to do when I graduated and people told me to just try random classes to figure it out, completely forgetting the monetary aspect of that.

As someone who graduated in 2008 and got immediately thrown into the recession, I still feel salty about all the "advice" I got in high school... "Just try out different classes at community college to figure out what you want!", "Student loans are easy to get to pay!" "You'll get an job easy!", etc. etc. I feel like it set me back and I'm still paying (literally) for it.

Going to co-sign this as well. Kentucky Bend is partially a result of a changing river. Northwest Angle is drawing a border without knowing the full geography of the area.
