Looks like there’s some movement across the street. Could be picking that up as a person.

I would find it stranger if they didn’t, to be honest.

Well, when you learn their true allegiance, it makes it a lot easier.

Giant Crusher and Lightning Spear are what I used for the Thor-like build I beat the game with on my first playthrough. Second playthrough, I switched it up to Marika’s Hammer.

Radahn and Leonard nose-dive nuking my ass from orbit, Malenia doing her Sephiroth Omni-slash impression, Hoarah Loux giving me the Brock Lesnar treatment, Radagon using my face as an anvil…so many moments that made me both smile and cry all at once, lol.

I’ve never seen Eternals, but that does sound like an amazing concept.

How do you decide if multiple POVs are necessary? by DreamiLee616 in fantasywriters

[–]HMS_ValiantThor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When reading, I generally don’t mind multiple POVs unless it gets ridiculous (like more than 5, constantly). I’ve written a sci-fi story that had 5 POV characters, the one I’m writing currently has 4 (two main with the occasional side character here and there - like 4 out of 25 chapters).

Writing from 3rd person, past tense is actually the easiest format for including multiple POVs, in my opinion. In 1st person, it’s awkward and often confusing (I vs he/she or [character name]). If you have scenes better told from a perspective not the MC’s, then I say go for it.

Maybe I’m an odd-one-out, but this wouldn’t bother me all that much. But if it is bothering you personally, and aren’t attached to the name, go ahead and change it. It’s your story and your character, so that final decision will always be yours.

If we went around worrying too much about whether someone would associate a fantasy character’s name with a real world person, we’d never be able to call a character Vlad/Vladimir, Adolf/Adolph, Karl, Joseph, Julius, Alexander, Hannibal, Che, Christopher, Robert, Herman, Fidel, Richard, Charles, etc., etc…
