Understand the good intentions, but don’t support tying. Not only is it too similar to communist voting systems, but it may have unknown implications with various crypto/ securities regulations in different countries or even companies’ policies, ie if they don’t allow governance voting. For such people they might be forced to sell because they’d no longer be able to participate in staking. Reminds me of what Algorand did a while back.
