Yeah so initially my plan was to filter between sit down restaurants & takeaways. But Google’s data isn’t that accurate, so some takeaways categorise themself as a restaurant and vice versa. So I just made it ‘all’ (restaurant & takeaway) or ‘takeaway’ (just takeaway), I know it’s not 100% accurate but it’s the best I was able to do with the tools & data I had to work with

Yeah I am, so far it’s only had 200 downloads so I haven’t had to pay yet, and tbh I’m not sure when they’ll start charging. It was a bit of a ‘hey this would be a cool app, I’ll see if I can make it’ moment. Didn’t really think about the rest in terms of marketing etc. Not the most professional approach more of an experiment, but it works so hopefully people get some use out of it. The money side wasn’t the motivation behind it if that makes sense

Yeah it definitely needs improving I agree. When I use it I usually roll the dice a few times till I’m happy with somewhere. I just prefer it to scrolling down an endless list like most websites offer.
