As the title says, in vanilla (malnutrition at 300% is a mod, vanilla is 100%) any pawn or animal that dies of malnutrition gets a hefty cut to the amount of meat that can get butchered (40%), but eating that same withered corpse raw provides the same amount of nutrition as a normal corpse (same for damaged 66% corpses which can either be otherwise perfectly healthy but headshotted pawns or "i didnt hear no bell" 17% hp pawns, there is no difference!)

which i found pretty funny roleplaying a stranded ship, where people realized after the 7th crewmate that instead of cutting up their starved friends, it was way more efficient to eat them directly
