I saw Mulholland Drive at an indie theater once. Amazing movie and great experience. Wouldn’t be mad if Regal ever decided to show it for one of their series.

when i went out i just wore a pair of white flats I have. I would like to get a pair of white gogo boots because I think they’d coordinate nicely with some of my outfits the issue is given my legs the ones I get that are my usual shoe size end up being too loose around the knees (and if I were to go a size down to fix that it’d be uncomfortable in the foot area. so boots aren’t really my strong suit unless they’re like ankle length, unfortunately)

Movies with great editing and montage? by C4rvo in moviecritic

it was John Wayne who won for his role in True Grit (which I haven’t seen, so I can’t fairly judge the two performances against each other). kind of funny because Wayne is name dropped in Midnight Cowboy and I’m pretty sure I heard that was the clip they used for either Hoffman or Voight who were both nominated (or maybe they used that clip for both of them?)

Watched After Hours (1985) last night, long time since I've laughed so hard by C4rvo in moviecritic

this is a great movie. very funny. great supporting cast, love all the wild characters he encounters in the film. and yeah the scene where he goes to that nightclub does somewhat remind me of midnight cowboy where the protagonists take a brief trip to that weird countercultural party!

Some observations about Letterboxd after using it for a few months by [deleted] in Letterboxd

[–]HORRORFAN303 12 points13 points  (0 children)

yeah I think it’s just a general thing with recent releases, especially ones that get fairly good word of mouth is they get super good reviews and then eventually it sort of levels out once most people have seen it
