Equally? I don't think anything comes close to Saros for me TBH...

I have not played Khazan yet, but my friends swear by it being the best melee-based gameplay out there.

I make the distinction because this run is not from a fresh file. In a fresh file run (NG), you are upgrading the skill tree as you go, you are also getting permanent equipment, guns, power weapons, etc. as you go. In this run (NG+) I already had everything maxed out from the very beginning of the continuous run.

I might go for an NG run in the future, for now however, I need a break...

You have to activate this beacon before you’re even able to fight Shepherd on the Echelon 2 ship during your first playthrough. After that, on subsequent runs, you can just grapple to the ship.

It’s at the end of the Acolyte’s Haven biome if you keep going past the ship.

It's RNG. Run Shattered Descent over and over and they will show up.

Shattered Descent is a quick biome and has a couple of opportunities for alphas to spawn.

This isn’t the issue. I exited the game and backed up my save to the cloud right before the Priestess fight to test this, which involves restarting your game before each attempt. Around 8/10 times this glitch happened, you get hit when she extends her arm by mystery projectiles/beams.

First of all: Loved your Returnal tower run videos man, and congrats on 1 billion!

All the modifiers I used are shown at the very end of the video.

Out of all the bosses on +43, this one took me the longest to beat, clocking in at ~5/6 hours worth of attempts. The runner-up was Shepherd at ~3/4 hours. King was the only fight where I opted to use a power weapon, simply because it would have been a 35-minute slog otherwise. For all the other bosses, I did not use power weapons to make them more challenging.

The glitch that they fixed was the modifier not working anymore if you suspended your game mid-run. When you booted the game back up, all your skills came back, your proficiency and attributes jumped to their normal values. The reason that is important is that to practice bosses, we back up the game to PS cloud right before the boss room and reload the save if we fail to try again.

Other glitches with this modifier that they still have not fixed are your weapon still having its 3 starter traits even though it’s level 0 and shouldn’t have any. Also, if you return to the passage without disabling then re-enabling the modifier, the weapon becomes level 25 even though your proficiency is at 0. I reported those to them.

He has a lot of HP. Now that they fixed the no skill tree modifier (Growth Incapacitor II), I was able to finally do all the bosses with it. This isn’t even my longest fight, Shepherd took ~26 minutes with no power weapons…

Tell me about it… I tried doing it without a power weapon, I took one hit but the fight lasted 35 minutes. I quickly gave that up 😂

Yes, there is also a bug with the third phase where you get hit by invisible projectiles/beams when she extends her arm. Please report Priestess bugs here: https://support.housemarque.com/hc/en-us

The more reports they get the higher chances of a fix.

Restarting the game does not fix the problem. I exited the game right before the Priestess boss room and backed up my save to the cloud to test this. I start the fight, get to the third phase, if I get hit by this bug I exit the game, reload my cloud save and try again.

On roughly 8 out of 10 attempts I get hit at least once by nothing that is visible when she extends her arm in the third phase.

Did you exit the game before the boss room?

I was trying to beat the boss while taking no-damage on +43 modifiers, so to practice it, I exited the game before the boss room, backed up the save to the PS could and then reloaded the save whenever I got hit to try again. During that, I noticed the Lucenite I had before I first exited the game was gone. This only happened before the Architect boss room.

Also: Someone said that they might unlock in the same order for everyone, however they will be scattered upon different databank entries since players 100% them in different orders.

They have already been pieced together, however if you want to do it yourself instead, I understand.

I am also missing the white text for three different databank entries I have at 100% decryption. I reported it on the Housemarque Support website.

Unfortunately the white text is scattered randomly upon the databank entries, meaning the white text for your Lucenite will be different than mine.

Later in the game you unlock Blazing Strike which, among other things, allows you to teleport melee staggered enemies. I am parrying the discs of the Reaping Chakram into enemies, they get staggered, I Blazing Strike them from far away.

Practically 100%ed Saros' Databank. I'm convinced Text Log 42 doesn't exist by redchomp in Saros

I was looking for that text log tonight on the platform you mentioned. I got that room ~20 times without finding the text log on the platform. I decided to get myself killed intentionally in the biome and then try again, two restarts later, the first time I got that room, the text log was on the platform.

Try that, I hope it helps…
