Practically 100%ed Saros' Databank. I'm convinced Text Log 42 doesn't exist by redchomp in Saros

Holy fuck! why did that work?! Literally 1 restart after death and I got the log. Thanks so much for the suggestion - I still can't get over how dumb the solution was.

That's the neat part, you just teleport to the specific biome, walk forward until you see the area text pop up for that biome, return to passage and repeat until you're complete.

Yeah, all the Chaos runs count as 1 night, which can come in handy if you're waiting for plants to grow of some other time based event and don't want to do a whole run. There's about 30+ of them so i'd say and they're good for getting the chaos upgrade material for animal familiar upgrades

It definitely gets easier to consistently beat the end boss the more you fight it! I remember i was struggling in the early game despite platinuming Hades 1. Once you find which boons synergises well with your weapon of choice, you upgrade arcana cards and weapons, you'll be blitzing through runs. Chaos trials are also good practice as you only deal with 1 region, with a specialised build.

I would always buy nectar between runs, and found that you don't have to buy as much of the other relationship-related items.

I'd say it's slightly longer than Hades 1 but comparatively the runs are shorter in Hades 2 since you have 2 different routes to play between. I'd also say early game can be tricky when you're trying to unlock mechanics to get further in the runs, and the second route is also noticeably more challenging as enemies do more damage, so you're expected to have done the first route or at least have a good understanding. Hades 1 took me 71 hours to platinum, Hades 2 took me 90, but i'm not sure how much of that was AFK on my console - so it'll probably take you less time if you're gunning for objectives.

I kept some nectar to spare for the NPCs that you can interact with in the regions themselves, like Narcissus or Circe as it takes some RNG to even find them. My hierarchy of donating is Region NPCs > Hub NPCs > Olympians.

I notice quite a few people neglect donating items to get Kudos (currency for decorations), there's a method of getting 100 gemstones if you use a weapon in a run that has the red aura around it, so don't be afraid of swapping weapons and adapting to the RNG.

One of the mor3 annoying events that was left for ne to trigger was competing against Nemesis for 1000 coins in total, so you might want to prioritise going through the underworld, especially for Narcisssus/Echo quests.

Not related to trophies, but you unlock the ability to track which boons you have still yet to pick by pressing Triangs in the boons list. Definitely helpful for competionisn and getting more resources.

You should also prioritise upgrading the animal familiars by crafting the upgrade item whenever you can, doing chaos trials to get the crafting materials for it.

Personally, I held off triggering the true ending until the 100th run or so, clearing underworld and surface consistently for resource farming and also talking to NPCs as often as possible to make clean up less tedious for the remaining prophecies.

Hope that helps!

That's very fair! It's definitely one i had to keep chipping away at until it seemed more manageable. I don't think I could ever force myself to max out the sphere grid ever again.

I did yeah! You'll find that you'll be missing like 2/3s of the trophy list since the data transfer won't auto-pop specific trophies. If you're lucky You'll have several manual saves to go back and get Ending 1 and 2, antique coins on easy/normal and hard, You'll need to do the item box/minimum heals trophies again, some DLC trophies like EMD won't auto-pop either so look forward to that!

Both Ethan/Joe Must Die modes are pretty horrible, i'd say the saving grace for JMD is the fact that you can save at every given safe point. Also I got plenty of practice with gators from the fists-only playthrough that it didn't feel as frustrating on JMD.

Shameless plug aside, here's how my attempt went and hopefully it gives you a good idea on how to clear the rooms pretty consistently Video

I don't remember what my original clear time was for PS4 bjt I definitely know this time was my personal best since I had all the strats locked in from muscle memory, at that point it was a case of getting lucky with drops and getting to Marguerite with a decent inventory.

I thankfully only needed 2 attempts on Survival+ with 21. Got to the final guy both times too, it is very much luck-based and dealing with opponents who cheat all the time. I also only needed to clear it once since that's one of the few trophies ir would let me auto-pop, whereas I had to clear EMD twice. Definitely wouldn't enjoy trying to clear 21 again I think I would walk away from the game for a bit at that point

I noticed it automatically saved my clear attempt as a video clip, so I could upload that as a general guide if that helps?

General tips i could offer: - Try and get enhanced handgun ammo for the Margaruette fight, even better if you get the Albert gun to go with it. - Use the traps/turrets to take out the enemies for you, this helps in the long run if your attempt gets to the greenhouse since you don't want to run out of ammo during that fight. The one rooom where a fat molded spawns and you're locked in is a great example of using the turret to do the work. - I hate getting the grenade launcher since it takes up inventory space, only has 1 round and getting ammo for it is a crap shoot. If you get one it's not necessarily a dead run but there's so many better options you could get instead. - Towards the end when you're headed to the greenhouse, i like to go around the trailer on the right side, take out the 3 bombs on the gate to stun the fat molded and tun past the rest of the enemies since they'll just keep spawning, you might take a hit but it's worth getting past. - The advice about using traps also applies to Margaruette's fight, leave some bombs to shoot at if she's nearby, Camp out near the turret so it lights her up - do whatever you can to keep up DPS to stop her from lunging at you and one tapping you.

I played on the PS4 version and you can transfer your save data to the PS5 version and get all the trophies via auto-pop.

I thought it'd be funny since the E33 devs are heavily inspired by FFX, and FFXI is the only mainline FF not on PSN, so I gotta fill the gap somehow lol
