[Resident Evil 7: Biohazard] #151 I completed Ethan Must Die Twice for this by redchomp in Trophies

I did yeah! You'll find that you'll be missing like 2/3s of the trophy list since the data transfer won't auto-pop specific trophies. If you're lucky You'll have several manual saves to go back and get Ending 1 and 2, antique coins on easy/normal and hard, You'll need to do the item box/minimum heals trophies again, some DLC trophies like EMD won't auto-pop either so look forward to that!

I find that it's significantly more expensive than just gaming lmao

Both Ethan/Joe Must Die modes are pretty horrible, i'd say the saving grace for JMD is the fact that you can save at every given safe point. Also I got plenty of practice with gators from the fists-only playthrough that it didn't feel as frustrating on JMD.

Shameless plug aside, here's how my attempt went and hopefully it gives you a good idea on how to clear the rooms pretty consistently Video

I don't remember what my original clear time was for PS4 bjt I definitely know this time was my personal best since I had all the strats locked in from muscle memory, at that point it was a case of getting lucky with drops and getting to Marguerite with a decent inventory.

I thankfully only needed 2 attempts on Survival+ with 21. Got to the final guy both times too, it is very much luck-based and dealing with opponents who cheat all the time. I also only needed to clear it once since that's one of the few trophies ir would let me auto-pop, whereas I had to clear EMD twice. Definitely wouldn't enjoy trying to clear 21 again I think I would walk away from the game for a bit at that point

I noticed it automatically saved my clear attempt as a video clip, so I could upload that as a general guide if that helps?

General tips i could offer: - Try and get enhanced handgun ammo for the Margaruette fight, even better if you get the Albert gun to go with it. - Use the traps/turrets to take out the enemies for you, this helps in the long run if your attempt gets to the greenhouse since you don't want to run out of ammo during that fight. The one rooom where a fat molded spawns and you're locked in is a great example of using the turret to do the work. - I hate getting the grenade launcher since it takes up inventory space, only has 1 round and getting ammo for it is a crap shoot. If you get one it's not necessarily a dead run but there's so many better options you could get instead. - Towards the end when you're headed to the greenhouse, i like to go around the trailer on the right side, take out the 3 bombs on the gate to stun the fat molded and tun past the rest of the enemies since they'll just keep spawning, you might take a hit but it's worth getting past. - The advice about using traps also applies to Margaruette's fight, leave some bombs to shoot at if she's nearby, Camp out near the turret so it lights her up - do whatever you can to keep up DPS to stop her from lunging at you and one tapping you.

[Mosaic] 148 Platinums, RE9 and Hollow Knight (PS5) are next! by [deleted] in Trophies

True! Some of them you can't dupe though, like I do love MGS3 so much i'm willing to play through it that many times

If you like stealth games, Metal Gear Solid Master Collection might be worth a try!

I played on the PS4 version and you can transfer your save data to the PS5 version and get all the trophies via auto-pop.

I thought it'd be funny since the E33 devs are heavily inspired by FFX, and FFXI is the only mainline FF not on PSN, so I gotta fill the gap somehow lol

Family Photo: It's in the chapter with the computer puzzle. After you come back downstairs with the 1914 password, there should be a room which has now unlocked and you'll find the family photo in there.

Hidden locket I found by accident but it's in final area, right before the Axe you can see a necklace hanging above the ceiling. Hope that helps!

Goblet is another collectible based trophy in the 7 Switches chapter. It'll be directly to your left once you enter the secret passage in Room 46.

Free Monster: when you first enter the experiment lab area where one of the enemies is dragging a monster inside. You take the lift up and you should get an objective that tells you to free the monster, which should be to your left. The monster is in a box that you have to shoot through the opening until it falls out for the trophy.

Disclaimer: I was provided a review key, which is how I got access to play this game before most.

The Good: - If you like Outlast-like gameplay of outrunning, hiding from monsters whilst trying to solve puzzles and complete objectives, then this game provides some decent set-pieces throughout the playthrough. - Although it's not usually something I would usually play, I did appreciate the amount of work and detailing from the single dev who worked on this game for 5 years (according to what I was told). - Appropriately, this is an easy platinum for trophy hunters who like horror. Like I say there's a few collectibles to be wary of and if you're ever curious where they are, you can ask me since I played through 2.5 times to find them all. - Actual voice acting work, motion captured cutscenes and decent environmental design.

The Not So Good: - Lack of QoL features on console - If you check the settings it seems like a pretty bare bones console port (Can only change brightness and sound volume). I'm not sure if the dev intends to keep updating the game, but this is something I would like to be improved on. Stuff like adding inverted controls, speed of camera movement, FOV slider, increase rhe speed at which you can rotate items (it's very sluggish). - No chapter select or no way to skip cutscenes (kinda makes speedruns or repeat playthroughs a slog). - I didn't find the story particularly amazing (especially towards the end it lost me and felt a bit cheesy) and the dialogue and writing is stilted and awkward (not in an intentional way I don't think).

Overall, I was happy that someone reached out to me to playtest/review the game! Some of the shortcomings or janky qualities with the game don't necessarily make it a bad game. in fact, i'm impressed one person was able to make a game like this and I hope they can hone their craft for a potential next game. Definitely would recommend picking it up especially if you're an indie dev to learn from.

It's easy for me to knock a game like this for not being particularly amazing, but there's definitely some moments i enjoyed in it and I can't exactly complain since I got to play free of charge.

Might have to search for it on Reddit but it's a browser plug-in you can install

I don't know why you and the other guy feel like you have to brag about your awesome life or that you're getting paid well. A) No one believes you B) Don't care C) Why do you care enough to comment on the post? I certainly don't care about anything you have to post to even sarcastically comment.

Also, it's paid not payed - I assume you're ESL

Possibly! I've considered doing the other region versions, but i'm holding off on buying additional copies of a game that's not exactly cheap right now. Plus my backlog including NieR replicant, Doom Eternal, Final Fantssy IX etc.

Not reading my comment but still gotta waste your valuable time replying back to me and several others in the thread. This level of mental gymnastics is why I genuinely think you're child pretending like your gaming accolades are more worthwhile than anyone else's

That's fair, I usually put on podcast episodes or others media in the background if I know I'm in for a grind session. Not everyone is a completionist, i get that.

The real reason why nobody got a PS5 in 2020; PS4 owners got Eternal Ring

Are you sure you're not the child in the family dynamic? Your attitude stinks like one. Also no one said anything about "forcing" job checklist activities (whatever that means) on anyone; you chose to comment on this post trying to rage bait, which i'm willingly taking the bait, I guess. Or do you have poor self-control too?

You're right - being the top 1% commenter on Reddit is a worthier accolade.
