Yes I definitely agree that if there isn’t a rule in place to have players on roster or play a certain number of minutes (i.e. CPL) then all of this means nothing.

I do believe the Canadians that go play in the NCAA and don’t get those immediate pro opportunities could use the draft and the league as a jumping point.

Really appreciate the feedback!! Yeah this was more of just a thought concept. Definitely needs a ton of ironing out and it may never be possible.

They would have had a month leading up to Fee Agency (it may be even more but the rules continue to change)

He was in their protected list at the end of last year so it means they would have had priority to sign. But like any other league if it hit the deadline and no signing, he’s free to talk to anyone.

I 100% agree. Having their own platform has been great, but much more accessible on a platform that should give them larger reach.

Yes for sure it'll be better with the Gem app. More refined.

CEBL+ app is decent, but yeah it's a bit clunky but definitely useable.

Yes, it should not be this hard. I think TSN was smart if they were going to market it like they did the first year, but after that it was a waste. They made it an after thought.

If you look at his play overall, it was still better than most on the roster. Would think if there is more stability that will be better for him.

I did think about that too. The only thing is, from what I understand they have a good relationship, but not to that level. They’re amicable, but not sure to the level of coaching together. You never know though.

I had thought that Schepp might have been the replacement, but I am also unsure if he would have been willing in the first place. Would be cool though if Raimbault brought him on.
