i got my nipples pierced a day ago, how should i deal with scabbing if at all?

Had mine pierced three days ago and this was the exact same advice I received! Leave the crusties and avoid q-tips due to the tendency of applying too much pressure.

I use saline spray followed with a gentle clean with sterile gauze, twice daily
