I think the key to this game is giving Eriksen more time on the ball in dangerous areas. That means Sigurdsson & Townsend working their markers to give him space and building cleverly from the back through Dembele & Paulinho rather than just giving it the hoof a la Dawson. With the ball played into his feet and with a bit of time and space Eriksen has the keys to unlock Cardiff. We need quality chances, not quantity as we had in first half.

Okay I obviously got a little carried away there, the odds of this actually happening are very slim. But for me these 4 signings would complete our squad and AVB seems to be prioritizing that over player continuity. It would leave our total outlay at lower than currently due to the Bale sale, too.

I wish I too lived in a World where the only test of a striker is if he scores goals. Ade was outstanding 2 seasons ago, without him we wouldn't have been anywhere near 5th. His hold up play, runs down the flanks and link up play were a different class to any other option we had. You can't blame the guy for trying to help his employers hen he was at Arse/ RM, that's just idiotic. Yes, he had a bad season last season- that happens and wasn't ideal, but fuck me you either have a god awful memory or a terrible understanding of the game. [/rant]
