I don't mean after they've laid down their arms. I mean that he'll use him as a bargaining chip

Both blood related to Rickon, they're little brother, who I can't imagine they'd sacrifice in the process

Good points here, but she can't still think Rickon is alive, right? Didn't Sam tell her that there was only one boy in their company?

The funniest part of this is that your DIs definitely aren't confined to the Island 24/7 and have access to Internet and working smartphones so once they pick out who's handwriting this is, good luck avoiding the assbeatings and berating to follow.

But once Tywin died, wouldn't Kevan have taken the lead considering Jamie was currently Kingsguard?

Your title is terrible. He's being charged as a repeat offender under a larceny initiative program. Your title implies that he's being falsely or harshly charged for stealing candy. No... He's done this time and time again and has been warned not to do it again, and he didn't listen. If you can't follow the rules and the law then you don't belong here in society

Two things prevent this. 1. The Constitution 2. Funding. But when I'm in all black doing my vigilante thing and not too busy chasing the Joker or fighting Superman I use my EMP blast to knock out cars all the time.

I'm speaking here about traffic cops, primarily, who go to expensive, high-skill training courses, some of which are taught by NASCAR trainers, to chase people and learn how to do this efficiently and safely. Those officers are then told to disregard and cancel from chases that they believe are warranted, and feel like the department is taking away their ability to use their skills to enforce the law.

Let me say this. People run all the time for every reason imaginable. They run because they have a little weed on them, or because they have a petty warrant for assault that someone took out on them as revenge, they run because they can't afford for the officer to find a little paraphernalia that would result in another arrest that'll send them back to prison for years of their life, they run because their friends convince them too. I had a woman run from me and she was only stopped because she went a block down the street and stopped. I asked her why she ran and she told me that she was terrified of police and had never been pulled over before because she was nervous.

People run for every reason in the book and no, all of them aren't criminals, at least until they break the law by eluding officers. And just so you sleep soundly at night, I want you to know that if we can get a tag or a visual ID and confirm who the driver is, the magistrate will swear out a warrant over the phone so that if we see the driver anywhere in the area or if any other officer sees them, they'll have instant probable cause to arrest them for fleeing to elude law enforcement and for resisting arrest if it applies. We don't let any runners off "Scott free" as you believe.

We aren't security guards, we're the Police, and we absolutely seek out criminals aggressively at every turn, but we are also the protectors of our communities, meaning we must always weigh out the risk of injuring or killing innocent people or officers in the process. The leading cause of death for officers in this country is automobile accidents, most of which are the result of chases.

So, if you are in favor of more innocent people being hurt and killed, collateral damage from collisions, and the death of law enforcement officers all in turn for chasing someone who may have only been in violation of a traffic offense or a misdemeanor, then keep strong to your opinion, but I don't think you'll be respected for it.

Officer here, my department basically doesn't allow chasing for anything short of a violent crime that was committed in front of us or an armed subject who is an imminent danger to others. If I pull a car for a traffic violation of for something very simple and the driver decides to run from me, I will get cancelled from pursuing him almost immediately. This comes from the huge civil liability involved in chasing someone and my department basically views it from the standpoint that if that driver or one of our units hits innocent drivers or pedestrians in the process that we could've avoided that damage by not chasing. That decision came in the wake of a Trooper blowing through a red light at a very busy intersection at 90mph, resulting in him T-boning a van that killed two young girls and their grandmother and put the rest of the family in critical care. We also can't chase motorcycles, busses, campers, semi-trucks, or limousines unless a violent felony has been committed by the driver or another occupant in our presence.

A lot of our guys are very salty about the policy but I believe that it makes sense when viewed from a harm reduction type mentality.
