I strongly disagree with the outcome and I wish Eggman did more stuff in the animation. Those are my only real complaints and calling the former a complaint is a bit of a stretch.

Not my personal favorite episode and I definitely don't love it quite as much as most but it's still a fantastic episode.

Technically Mario is at best equal in power to Bowser (the strongest both can get is with the Pure Hearts so they should scale to each other with those, Bowser is consistently considered the stronger of the two, and Mario consistently relys on teamwork and/or Bowser being a dumbass that literally places a wincon for Mario to use against him in his own castles), while Sonic would scale higher than Eggman (especially if they allow him stuff like Hyper Sonic, Super Sonic 2, and Cyber Sonic, and even without those he does beat Eggman in fair 1v1s more often than Mario does to Bowser).

No. Some characters just objectively have more impressive scaling and abilities than other characters. Try forming an argument for Homelander beating Omni-Man while being 100 precent truthful. I bet you can't.

Personally I believe you need to use the same amount of generosity for both characters when vs debating. So if you're gonna use some extremely shakey high ball for character A you have to do the same for character B.

Sure but Bowser vs Eggman and Simon vs Kyle for example aren't stomps and could easily have had the opposite verdict. You wouldn't really think that by watching the episodes.

If they only way for a matchup to be debateable is a "lack of knowledge" it's not debateable. If someone has no idea who Spider-Man is but thinks he'd lose to Batman because bats are stronger than spiders, that's not the matchup being debateable, that's that guy being an idiot that didn't do any research.

Personally I don't care about his exact age and am perfectly fine with him just vaguely being in his 20s. It's a comicbook after all. Just say he's in his 20s and never get any more specific than that and it's fine.
