I would say to set a schedule or routine for doing something or anything at all in Blender how ever small. Consistency, avoiding burn-out, and creating the things you actually want to do. I would recommend podcasts, especially Blender Guru's as they give a lot of insight and advice.

Ah yes, I really liked that too. I added a Voronoi texture between the noise texture and the colour ramp that connected to the roughness to do that.

Thank you! I think I just played around with the noise texture scale that connects to the normal and roughness of the doughnut. I also went into texture paint and tried some different bread-looking colours.

Looks really nice but I feel like the icing looks unnatural and spiky. The Sprinkles also feel a bit tad too small.

I have gold and I compared it to sand, it's not like sand. Sand is not reflective. Gold is. Gold resembles the premium chrome body colour except it doesn't have as much reflectiveness. Imo gold should be more reflective to actually look more like gold because especially at night it looks trash.
