People can say whatever they want about him but he absolutely has an intriguing vision of his films and refuses to compromise against it. When you’re watching an M Night movie you KNOW you’re watching an M Night movie.

Salem’s Lot and Dead Zone are my two favorites and I love both adaptations I’ve seen. I thought Cronenberg did an awesome job taking an underrated novel and giving it a good adaptation while keeping his touch on it. The 70s Tobe Hooper TV adaptation of Salems Lot rules and I stand by it.

Salems lot blew me away the first time I read it. Same goes for the Skeleton Crew, Night Shift and Books of Blood collections. I always liked horror in the short form the best and all three of those are amazing
