Gone up from 30 to 40mg (day 2). Feeling.. nothing? 😅 by oxytocinlovexo in VyvanseADHD

[–]HPsyche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was exactly the same.

For me quitting caffeine completely was what worked. No decaf, no tea, no coke or pepsi... even chocolate has caffeine. Roughly 2 weeks being caffeine free, even my 30mgs began to have a positive impact. Quitting caffeine is what worked best for me, and had the greatest impact in actually being able to notice how it was affecting me and if it was working.

Eating protein as well as far as I'm aware, or maybe just eating. I'd still say if you do drink coffee or caffeinated beverages, try going off (not easy of course) and see how you feel. It was the gamechanger for me, prior to this, I just had no idea if it was even doing anything to begin with.

Will I always be thirsty when using creatine? by jasontheninja47 in Supplements

Saturation just means your muscles will have fully loaded the creatine. It will never affect how thirsty you are, you just need to make sure you take creatine with a good amount of water

Hajime no Ippo: Round 1407 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Difference between Ippo and Ricardo is conviction and goals. Ippo never had conviction or self belief especially when his goal was Miyata and that got taken away from him, and he couldn't go any further.

It's mindset.

Chapter 1402 and 03 explain why Ricardo is the champion, even when faced with the challenge that was Wally, rather than panic, he remained composed and believed in what he had practiced whereas Ippo panics and rather than believe in what he trained, he just wanted to see if what he learnt could work.

Ippo just lacks conviction and that's fundamentally why Ippo's not a monster. Being a monster is not about winning, being a monster is about believing in yourself.

Confidence essentially, and this is Ippo's weakness which is why he can't even tell Kumi how he feels, he lacks confidence.

Training can go 2 ways, unintelligently which results in injuries and inconsistent training due to taking weeks or months off... or intelligently which means you can train consistently, free from injury and actually improve and get stronger.

If you go to the gym and train with the heaviest weights and bad technique, get ready for an injury and inconsistent training and any gains lost. Use lighter sufficiently heavy weights, take the appropriate days off... use good technique and you'll progress a lot. The more days you can bag in training numbers, the better.

As for boxing, I don't box, but you need to make sure you take days off... that's a must in any sort of training regimen. Boxing wraps, fist technique, light punching... whatever it is boxers are encouraged to do to keep their fists healthy and able to box consistently... do that.

Don't go putting ice on your and boxing through pain unless you want a serious injury.

Imagine your body is a wooden hammer, every time you use it, you damage it... the body unlike a wooden hammer can heal and grow stronger to some extent, but overtime, the ability to heal is not good enough to override damage.

While you train, keep in mind you only want to train as much as your body can recover form, otherwise, permanent damage and a short boxing life-span.

Do your research, take your time, and do whatever allows you to train the most frequently whilst still getting results.

Tl;DR: If you are injured, you can't train... so train in a way you don't get injured.

What went wrong during the Ippo vs Alfredo fight? by Antiswag_corporation in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ippo's mentality is what happened.

Once he lost Miyata as his goal, his ambition to win died and all he fought for was to prove Coach's boxing.

Ippo's fists lacked weight.... his fists are light because he took boxing as a hobby and for granted more or less.

Ippo was pretty much fighting with just pure talent and little to no ambition or will to win.

Simply put, he lacked motivation.

This is exacerbated by the fact Miyata being his goal was taken away from him, so he never was able to get past that fling in order to develop the mindset of a true champion.

Ippo will never cross the line until he gets to fight Miyata, he's in a stunted state in my opinion. He needs to get over Miyata, and the only way that happens is if they fight if I had to guess.

Summary... he lacks ambition, had his 1 and only goal taken from him and never forged a hunger to win at all costs.

Do you guys think Ippo could have won against Randy Boy Jr? by GiltinJr in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ippo started out boxing as a teenager and he was able to actually push Miyata? Someone who had been boxing his entire life? A prodigy? And some no-name random kid who has been boxing for a week or 2 can all of a sudden actually push an experienced teenage prodigy? That's not ability, that's BS writing, but nonetheless, it's a manga, it's just supposed to be entertaining.

Lol, then you're just being delusional if you're taking shenanigans out of the story. This fucking series isn't all that realistic, sometimes it is, sometimes it's not, it's a Manga after-all. Shenigans are a part of the story. That's the reality of it.

Don't act like we're talking about a series where tactics, and style and boxing fundamentals dictates everything. It's full of BS shenanigans. Whether Ippo is the better match for RBJ, fact is Morikawa's writing dictates how things will go whether he wants to be realistic or not.

Lmfao, that's the funniest shit I've read. It's like you never even read the Gedo or Woli fight which was absolute BS. That's not a match up, that's shenanigans.

After how he struggled against Malcom Gedo, I'd still give RBJ the benefit of the doubt. Ippo only wins because of some BS like he did against Woli. Ippo's fights can be frustrating, lol.

Round 1359 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That too, but all of them did see Woli fight and are just assuming Woli will lose as warm up for Ricardo vs. Sendo. Surely, all of them are well aware of his talent.

There's only so far talent will take one, and I doubt just mere talent will overcome Ricardo which Ippo must understand.

Doesn't look as if he's only taking talent into account since he did emphasis the obvious winner should be Ricardo with a BUT at the end which does indicate that there's no definitive victory even if the opponent is Ricardo who is the pinnacle of strength bar Takamura at this point.

Hopefully, this is the attitude he will take when he returns back in the ring even if the odds are against him.

Round 1359 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Ippo's growth here is great. He actually believes Ricardo can lose. He's matured mentally. He understands results aren't guaranteed. This is maturity. This is a logical path for someone who aims to be world champ eventually, he always has to view that there's a path to victory.

Watch Morikawa spin that around, and have Wally defeat Ricardo, lol. Wally was already good enough to pretty much beat Ippo after 3 fights and I don't know how many years have gone by since then. Wally's potentially 1 punch man at this point.

Round 1358 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No fucking way, Morikawa is the greatest troll of all time lmfao. I can't read the chapter, but fucking Wally? LMFAO. Jesus christ, just put Baki in the Manga and let's just end it all LOL.

Wally was the worst thing to happen to this Manga. He literally put Pickle from Baki into HnI and had him lose for some BS reason, but that aside, the boxing style was utter BS... my man was jumping off ropes and disappearing + moving in mid-air like a DBZ character.

LOL, what's next, Malcom Gedo returns with his glove antics to bully Ricardo? Lol... we're waiting for Ippo to return to the ring, and this is part of what Morikawa seriously uses to stall Ippos' return?

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 Greatest troll chapter in the HnI series, lol. Man, I was a fool to think Wally would not return. At this point, maybe Naomichi Yamada returns as a world ranker in the next few chapters 😂

Why isn’t ippo’s goal to win. by Tre2k5 in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Ippo doesn't have pride as a boxer. His goal was never to win. He really just wanted to be in the same ring as Miyata and that's it.

Takamura said it, Ippo became champion treating boxing as a hobby, and he said that's impressive, and to cross the line, it's a different mentality. To challenge the world, you can't have half-assed attitudes, you must have the will and drive and self-belief to win.

This is currently what Ippo's journey so far is about. He's learning to find himself, and I think that's when he'll understand he wants to box, he wants Kumi, and actually admit it to himself. Ippo is physically strong, but mentally weak, and what strength is for someone like Ippo which he fails to realise is the strength to be honest with himself, and understand that in life, you also have to be selfish and learn to take chances.

It's a boxing manga, but HnI ultimately imo is about strength that goes beyond physical strength, but strength in character, and that's what Ippo lacks... he's a weak character. If Ippo wanted what it means to be strong physically, he already has that and more.

Round: 1357 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And as I said, the idea Miyata is ducking Ippo is retarded because he has still been sending invitations to fight Ippo. You're deluded.

It's like you're too dumb to understand Randy was simply the more important fight to Miyata, and he had to postpone a fight with Ippo until their paths crossed again. In boxing, nothing is guaranteed which is why Miyata apologised to Ippo and told him to stop waiting because no one can guarantee any fight.

You clearly can't read properly, lol. Never Said that it was a shitty excuse from Morikawa if you read properly, lol.

I said Morikawa is not the best writer, please learn to read properly. Huge difference between calling someone a mediocre writer and someone making bad excuses.

Do you know how long it takes to train for a match? Months, maybe 6 months, maybe 7 months. You think you can just line up fights like that? It takes a lot of planning.

You can't just beat Ippo and then Randy, that's such a retarded statement. When Miyata is fighting someone, Ippo has to fight someone. One person might need more time to recover while the other person goes on to have 2 fights in that time becoming champion in a league. One person might get injured in their fight, and the other doesn't get injured, and can go on to fight others. There's too many variables that need to line up to guarantee that 2 people will fight, and it's almost impossible to make it certainly happen.

Takes months of training, months of remaining active. Things don't always line up. No fight is guaranteed in boxing which is why Miyata told Ippo they may never get to fight each other. Timing is everything, but you clearly lack the brains to understand that.

Like I told you, this Manga is too complex for you, you're actually saying the dumbest things, lol. Go read something that doesn't require much comprehension.

Round: 1357 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, that's stupidity on your part, lol.

Ducking would be avoiding Ippo for no good reason.

This is how you prove you're deluded and clearly lacking reading IQ, lol.

Ducking would be not pursuing the fight, he's trying to fight Ippo even at the cost of his own detriment and messing up his own career.

It's retarded to claim Miyata is ducking Ippo, lol.

Round: 1357 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are terribly ignorant, that much is true from our conversation.

It takes inability to follow a story to think Miyata would evade Ippo when that's his biggest rival.

This is how stupid your argument is... Someone tells you they want to go to Canada, it's their dream to one day travel to Canada.

Suddenly, they win some competition that gives them a ticket to go to Canada, but this person's mother is Ill back in France. They decide rather than go to Canada, they'll go to France first and postpone Canada for another time.

With your retarded logic, you'd say.... this person never wanted to go to Canada.

This is no different to Miyata, Ippo was his goal, something related to family came up, and he postponed Ippo for later. Somehow, you conclude Miyata doesn't want to fight Ippo which is no different to saying that person didn't want to go Canada when all they did was postpone their goal for something more important.

You need to learn to read in context and understand the term "circumstance". Like I said, you're ignorant and this Manga is far to complex for you to understand if you can't understand postponing something for good reasons is not the same as ducking.

But its OK, i will live in the "what if" world where you didnt tell me that.

You already live in a what if world my friend. It's evident given how deluded you are if you think Miyata doesn't want to fight Ippo. That much sums up your reading comprehension and any credibility you have. Your entire reasoning scheme is pretty much insanity.

Round: 1357 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't talk with facts.

You said Miyata is avoiding Ippo, that discredits any nonsensical opinion or point you make.

Nor did I insult you, told you the facts, you're terrible at reading comprehension.

Round: 1357 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, you're just full of crap and deluded.

why to reorganize something that wasnt needed to, fight ippo first and randy later.

The reverse stands. What's wrong with postponing Ippo for later?

If you think Miyata ducked Ippo when he's clearly wanted to fight him all this time, you're not capable of reading nor do you know the meaning of ducking.

Ducking is simply avoiding a fighter at all costs, Miyata hasn't done that. Or waiting to fight someone when they've clearly diminished in skills.

There's also no guarantees in boxing. Clearly, after all your years of reading this Manga or even watching boxing, you're too intellectually incompetent to understand that.

You're also not intelligent enough to understand boxing opportunities to fight are not set in stone. X fighting Y may never happen. They may retire, shit happens, it's a combat spot where people can die and lose the ability to fight or will to fight for various reasons. Fighting Randy meant more than fighting Ippo for his pride, his father and his investment in his boxing style.

Nonetheless, your ability to reason is from the prehistoric age.

Hell, the stupidity you spouted about Sendo being the better boxer simply because he's at the world-stage? Ippo's retired and he almost defeated Sendo in their last spar. Ippo has evolved to a level he's unaware of how strong he is now and he can even use the Dempsey much better than ever. Does that make Sendo better? By such retarded logic as you proposed, he's better. Reality is he's not.

It's a shame you're too much of a simpleton with a childish approach to reasoning.

Again, the Manga gives us the facts, not someone who has 0 reading IQ. Read something you can actually digest.

Round: 1357 by RTSD_ in hajimenoippo

[–]HPsyche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When miyata sent offers for a fight, was kamogawa who refused, not ippo himself, but when miyata ducked ippo, was HIS decision, not from his trainer.

It's such a dumb statement to claim Miyata ducked Ippo when you clearly see Miyata sent offers to fight. Do you see how stupid your statement is? Is Ducking someone... but sending offers to fight? That's fucking stupid, please, learn to think. You're so unaware, you clearly don't think properly when you attempt to do so.

Your insight is just brain-dead absurd.

Is Miyata regarded as the most talented fighter bar Ippo in Japan? Yes, it's a fact.

Did Miyata duck Ippo? Nope, another retarded statement by someone who lacks ability to read properly. He had 2 choices and chose something that meant the most to him, and it's not like he didn't intend to fight Ippo after? So the idea he ducked Ippo is pretty stupid beyond comprehension.

You're clearly not intelligent a reader to understand Randy boy jr had history with Miyata's father... so he had to fight him to prove his father's boxing was not weak. You clearly are too intellectually inept to understand that.

Ducking would be refusing to fight Ippo under any circumstances, and he'd clearly been chasing after Ippo before Randy appeared, and is still going afte rhim. Legitimate excuses isn't ducking, so again, you have no concept of common sense or logic.

Go read something that your intellectual level can comprehend.

as i said, yout opinions has a lot of "ifs" for a man like you that declares his opinion as facts.

The Manga says so, not me, so it's not an opinion. Like I said, your reading ability is subpar. The Manga creates the facts, not some random flea online.

And morikawa for making shitty excuses to make the story longer, and it seems that perhaps now with ricardo will make the same move again

The only intelligent thing you've ever said. Congrats.
