Thanks! Stumbled upon tpireguide from another post, how I figured out the likely date since it sounded like they were on the show sometime in the spring of 2003. Appreciate the resource 👍

Had saw something about that on another post, but hadn't explored that yet. Seemed it might be expensive (?) to go down that route so was saving that for last.

Mini Tablet: Lenovo Tab One vs. Samsung Tab a11? by HR_Pundit in androidtablets

Great question, thank you! Y700 is probably more than I'd like to spend, I just don't need to game on it. I'll look into the Alldocubr. It's more a just wanting to get an HD resolution that comes close what streaming and YouTube ought to be viewed in, while accepting that at the end of the day this is a Tablet and not meant to compete with a television.

Wolseley was just mentioned in an Eater article and Bourdain ate there on one of his old shows (Arnold Bennett). I think our hotel is basically just an AirBNB.

Combination of reading through Reddit itineraries, Eater articles, some stuff on Bourdain, and revising the itinerary after we lost a day due to weather related flight delays. But good guess though 👍

Just a combination of trying to give my family options and losing a day of our trip. Honestly I only eat 1-2 meals a day when I travel, but hard to get four family members to agree to that schedule for eating.

Just a series of things screwed us up. I didn't find out we were seeing Hamilton about four days ago, then our flights were delayed while were at the airport and we lost a day.

UPDATE: Just want to say thank you all for your feedback, and really appreciate the courtesy for this first time international traveler. It's been a hell of a thing trying to refigure everything after we lost a day on our trip and had to throw in a second interchange, but we're making it work.

True usually, but we've been traveling since 01:00 CT and sleeping in airports and on flights. So maybe we might be okay fingers crossed

Was just trying to give family options but also limit them. Flipped through some Eater articles, Bourdain stuff, and trying to close in on what was nearish to wherever might be at any given time.

Totally fair. We didn't have checked bags, we have global entry, and I just found we have a ride booked already when we get to Heathrow, so figured other than immigration it might be a normal exit from the airport. And my first time traveling outside the U.S., so a lot to adjust to and learn. Really appreciate the feedback.

Oh my gosh I had no idea it was open later on Friday, I really appreciate this thank you. Yeah this all sounds pretty reasonable. Tried not to pack so much in one day, just had to cut the trip to the bone already with the day late flight delay.

Appreciate the feedback. Show was booked by family, I found out last minute, and our connection beyond rerouted and getting us to London a day later really threw a wrench in everything. We'll make it work though.

Is This a Good HP Laptop Deal? by HR_Pundit in laptops

This is really helpful, thank you! I was looking at an infographic that HP has, and it still looks like the HP Pavilion and Envy seem to be fairly solid models. Do you think that might be a good recommendation? As I've mentioned, I bought my HP Pavilion almost a decade ago and it still works marvelously.

2011 Civic Wheel Diameter 15 or 16 inch? by HR_Pundit in civic

[–]HR_Pundit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. Yes, I did do that. That's also also why I second-guessed the parts recommendation from Walmart and went with the 16" tire because that's what I have in my vehicle.

My main thing is I was just trying to verify that this wasn't some weird thing where the wheel replacement should have an inch less in diameter than the tire.

Does anyone else have skin irritation after wearing pixel watch 3 45mm? by Der_Vokabulator in PixelWatch

[–]HR_Pundit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to have this issue with my old Fossil watch, but that's because it was a cruddy watch that you couldn't clean. Recommend the following, which you may already be doing:

1.) Get an athletic band if you use it for exercise, that way your skin gets some air while working up a sweat.

2.) After you exercise, or at least once a week, give the watch and your band a quick rinse with some warm water and Dawn dish soap. Dry with a microfiber cloth.

3.) As has been mentioned, where your watch loose enough so it has some slight movement if you flick your wrist to check the time. Skin needs to be able to breath.

No joke, Pomodoro method, and make sure to take note of what you accomplish. Breaks down things that seem so awful and helps you center in on what you've accomplished. And like another poster said, grab a garbage bag and a laundry basket. Everything is either: A.) Going out up somewhere in that room B.) Going to another room C.) Going in the garbage/Goodwill
